Panthers to continue to head towards a penalty minute record, possibly play out of their skins in the 3rd and pick up a few knocks on the way. The score? Who knows. Depends what version of the team we still have turns up.

If the Steelers give up their usual 3 breakaways a game like in recent times....I would hope we put them away.

Well, we're hosting a Stanley Cup winner instead of Thommo, but we should still win this if we play our game.

Our fans need to realise it's not an instant fix. He'll be tasked to rebuild while maybe cutting some deadwood. He'll be getting used to the league so he knows what pieces he needs for next season.

I cannot see this elsewhere - so "Sheffield Steelers are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Head Coach, Tom Barrasso!" He should polish things up a bit.

You can't polish a turd!
Remember ones playing career has no bearing on their coaching career. Hes gone from being a Assistant coach at nhl level to a league at a lesser standard than the eihl !

New coach or not we have to play to our highest level or they will beat us.

Will he be behind the bench or will he need to get his work permit.
As a Penguins fan, it would be great to see him.
Not sure if many Stanley Cup winners have appeared at The Arena (I seem to remember a legends game that had Probert but that was before I got into this sport)

Do we count Colby Cohen as well ? LOL
After three games with the Avalanche, Cohen was returned to Lake Erie before being traded to the Boston Bruins for Matt Hunwick on December 29, 2010. On April 14, 2011, Cohen was called up by the Boston Bruins as a spare for the playoffs, but he did not play so his name was not engraved on the Stanley Cup as a result when the team won the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Bruins did, however, include Cohen in the official Stanley Cup photo, and he was presented with a Stanley Cup ring. From Wikipedia.

Anyone want to hazard a guess at what drug the 'spokeswoman' was on when writing this paragraph on the OS for the game build up? "Both sets of fans are dedicated to the cause, both the home and away sections are sold-out, the barn is going to be rammed. We’ve all heard about Yorkshire tea, biscuits, broadband and the rest but at the end of the day who doesn’t like a bit of Yorkshire pudding with their Sunday roast". 3rd Paragraph - www.panthers.co.uk/home/more-than-7000-booked-in

At the moment it is a side which has struggled against a side which has aspirations, but wishes to be better. I am not sure whether whether either side has a plan how to get better or whether either they have articulated that. Perhaps panthers think that to hype up the "greatest rivalry in Europe" will distract fans from us thinking how we can catch up to Cardiff.

😂😂 cashing in now it's sold out. Should have it every week, plenty of extra away fans buy them every game.
