Just saying you was saying Garnett is best goalie in the league now some are cursing him.
It's always the same when you lose

That's been the Panthers way for years and years ... the fans always need someone to lay the blame on!

That 2nd Storm goal is poo poo. How is that given?! I thought the same and Calv said they looked at a review of the goal and was still given. Makes me worry a little. Maybe the refs were shown a different angle where the puck is more visible perhaps? For the devils fans: When you lose, players are obviously going to get blamed by sections of the fan base. It's not just Panthers fans that do this. Garnett is an easy target because he is the one conceding goals Do I think Garnett is better than Bowns? Yes. Could Bowns become better? Of course why not. Am I being biased? Maybe.

It's always the same when you lose And on the Inferno forum there’s Devils fans calling for Bowns to be replaced next season and some saying he’s the best in the league. Nothing abnormal, some fans are at the extreme ends of the scale, some are in the middle

May well be but since that loss he has only conceded 5 goals in 3 games. Garnett concede 9. Losing 2 of them. Bowns winning all of his. That will down to the better, more disciplined, team in front of him.
How was Bowns in the CHL, where your team was really tested.... Are you still bottom of your group?

I would have Garnett over every other goalie in the league.... Currently, anyway. Maybe when he gets in to his studies I'll change my view.

Storm’s four points are now enough to qualify as they can’t be matched by the third placed team in the Scottish/NI Group. So 1 point will be enough to qualify for Panthers and there are scenarios where 3 points with a regulation win will be enough.

May I ask a stats related question of this game, for anyone who knows/can remember?
Doty took a minor at 33:46, Rissling one at 34:03. The Storm goal was timed at 35:46. Was Doty back on the ice at the time the goal was scored, thus it was scored on a 5 on 4 PP, or was he not, in which case it was a 5 on 3 goal, and Rissling's penalty continued for another 17 seconds after the restart?

On the league website they’ve got Doty down as receiving a minus on the goal so he must have been.

On the league website they’ve got Doty down as receiving a minus on the goal so he must have been. Most times we see PP1( on a game sheet) added against a goal to show it was a power play goal rather than ES for even strength team. But do we see PP2 when a goal is scored 5 on 3? I've not looked that closely at these sheets for this instance BUT it shows as PP1 here in that 3rd Oct game versus Manchester BECAUSE the sheet I have says the goal was scored at 35.43 three seconds before Doty was due out. But why still showing as PP1 if two guys still in the box? Query on 8th Sept v Manchester with Moffat in the box at 57.13, Bakker joined him at 57.31 when Lachowicz scored for us at that same 57.31 time. The player due off at the time of a goal obviously must have been classed as ON the ice as he was there at that moment. The code against the goal was PP1EA....what is this statement?

EA normally means extra attacker, so could be a delayed pen while already on the PP?

Thought on the night that the delay of game penalty might have been a bench penalty for trying to change lines after the ref had his arm up - Wells seemed to be indicating that with gestures to our bench after he called the penalty (not sure if that rule was tightened recently as with the face off one). Pretty sure Rissling was released from the box when the goal was scored so that would indicate a 5 on 4.
