For those of you going to all three games this one is going to be one to remember. For those who have never been to Scotland and are thinking about just 1 game, or those going up for just one game, then this is the one to go to.
Flyers are getting presented with the Gardiner Conference trophy on Saturday and whether the game is a good one or not this will be enough to have the Auld Barn in Kirkcaldy full and absolutely rocking and the atmosphere will hopefully be like nothing you will have ever experienced as it will be loud and very, very intimidating and when it's like that at Kirkcaldy it is a very special place.
It will be some occasion

If you are going to the Flyers game, please bring a bit of extra cash with you. There’s a fundraiser for Kidney Research going on before the match and in the breaks, including a raffle (a signed Panthers shirt is one of the prizes) and lots of goodies for sale. It’s a good cause and we’re lending a hand to our friend Cath (Flyers fan, transplant recipient and the person who got us into ice hockey), so please stop by and say hello

2-2 after 1 (Spang, Mosey). Sauve chucked for boarding.

I remember when this was a contact sport. So do I, when you could check guys shoulder to shoulder with a good check. Not shoving guys in the back, head first into the boards. I guess if you can’t beat them, deplete them!

I guess if you can’t beat them, deplete them! the checks have been poor but surely you can’t see that we are getting called for minors that you aren’t?

I really do dislike shootouts; don’t see the issue with a tied game but I’ll take a point all the same.

Agree about ties, but it is what it is I guess. Decent result considering we tied it up with the goalie pulled in the 3rd.

I agree as regards tied games, leaving OT and PS to Cup/PO matches.
Generally the teams look closer in a league with a Win Draw and Loss column. Braehead would be 3 points behind us as they have won more games and as we have taken more 1 pt games like tonight, however - we'd be 6 points behind Guildford who have fared better by winning more games (isn't that a better league?).....The difference as regards placings presently is that Sheffield would now be above Fife by one point again more wins and less tied games. Even Coventry could get excited about catching us in the table below.
Cardiff 69 Manchester 60 Belfast 58 Sheffield 55 Fife 54 Guildford 52 Nottingham 46 Braehead 43 Coventry 38 Dundee 34 Milton keynes 32 Edinburgh 16

Just making the journey back to Edinburgh ready for tomorrow night, had time to think about this post. Happy with the point we gained but should of been 2. Poor discipline again, won’t win games taking that amount of pims. I thought Garnett was pretty solid again really looks to have picked it up over the last few weeks. Nothing he could or done with any or the Goals. 3 showing penalty shots from ya granted the ice was poor but it’s the same for both teams. 2 poitnr tomorrow and we have to be happy with 5 our of 6 for the weekend.

the checks have been poor but surely you can’t see that we are getting called for minors that you aren’t? Example? after Sauve’s check, which he got chucked for, Stockton come flying in with gloves off, Suave sees to him, so the refs give Sauve 2+2 for roughing and Stockton only gets 2, why? Heelis checks Gagnon with a high elbow, refs don’t call it, Gagnon pushes him in retaliation and gets called for roughing. Our players have to got to be much smarter at the end of the day.

3 losses in 3 games against Fife this season, I know they’ve come on this season but that’s very dissapointing.
