Too many forwards in this team not putting enough on the scoresheet this season. Shalla Brown Mosey Lindhagen Clarke Lachowicz All need lessons in putting the puck in the net. Thank god Perlini knows where the goal is ! I said this a few weeks ago and I was told "What an utterly ridiculous comment" remember SHAGGY or this from SHNOBI "I just imagined Trump tweeting this" CN needs to make changes or bring in a David Ling type player to put it on a plate for these guys to score

I said this a few weeks ago and I was told "What an utterly ridiculous comment" remember SHAGGY or this from SHNOBI "I just imagined Trump tweeting this" CN needs to make changes or bring in a David Ling type player to put it on a plate for these guys to score I have said this for some weeks - we haven't got the set up player like Ling (not possible to get back on personal grounds) or Heerema. I also questioned Sauve defensively although one of the best offensive D men in the league. I also agree regarding goals from other forwards needing to improve to add to Perlinis efforts. Yes Clarke is looking a bit pedestrian also. We have not been convincing on occasions but the drive has got us through overtime wins, but last night and v Fife mistakes cost us .Small margins for error. It was a terrible give away cross ice from behind the net by (I think) Billingsley. OK its a small tight arena, but there is enough quality in the side to deal with this. However we are still in a very good position, but need to up the quality and of course the power plays, which at times were again disjointed last night.

For the whole time between the Panthers goal and the equaliser I thought the game would finish 1-0. Garnett made some huge saves and Clemente wasn’t far behind. Thought Panthers had more of the play but Storm had the better chances, with three great looks on the PP late in the third.
The equaliser was an absolute gift, should have come with a big bow and glitter. Up until that point it looked like Storm would huff and puff but fail to blow the house down.
Says something for the goaltending that the only three goals were 5-on3, 4-on-3, and gifted by a turnover.

A positive point from last night was that Garnett was terrific, he made some big saves and had it not been for individual errors we would have won that game 1-0.
Now for the negatives... we look toothless up front, we dump and chase the puck and it is to no benefit. In that rink last night we should have had someone parked in front of the net trying to redirect the puck getting shots in form the point. We looked lost going forward last night. I also agree that this has been a season to far for Clarke, he is ineffective, even on the power play.
Sauve loses his mind at times and it is starting to become very frustrating. There was a moment in the third when we were on the penalty kill that he decided to go on the attack, he was out of position, it left Beca to skate in alone and Garnett had to bail us out.
Then he gave away the penalty, which I thought was extremely soft, but he had put himself into a position where if he lost the puck we would be in trouble, he has got to be smarter, especially in OT as he has cost us twice this season.
Today is a must win.

I agree, must win today, Another loss and we’ve frittered away our position at the top. Everyone at the Panthers needs to wake up now and do what needs to be done, otherwise nothing has been learned from recent seasons where inactivity and lame excuses have wrecked our league ambitions. “FOCUSED ON THE LEAGUE LIKE A LASER.” Your words Mr Neilson. Time to back the statement with action.

Thank god Perlini knows where the goal is ! A bit harsh on Lachowicz as he’s fourth line and imo is playing better than he has for a few years. I’d add bussieres to that list though
