Good to see us get some young brits signed up. I feel you should always have some in your team if you can afford to.
Kelsall doesnt look the most exciting signing for the immediate future. He may be a guy that becomes a great player in 4 or 5 years time. But for now i cant see him getting many shifts. Actually thats a lie. With our injury record he'll probably play every weekend.
Tetlow (or Tetley as hes now going to be know lol) on paper at least looks a far more exciting prospect for next season. With a frame his size, and Coreys knack for developing young dmen if he comes with the right attitude he could bevome the real deal. Its a big jump from EPL to the Elite league so im looking forward to seeing how he gets on. Be curious to know if hes been signed as our 6th or 7th dman.

We needed to look to the future as regards British players. Good pick ups by the Panthers.

In the OS article Corey said he was a "project" so i doubt he'll be on the main three lines

I will update the title once announced. Tetley? Do we have a new sponsor too? Hahah sorry the autocorrect function on my phone is wreaking havoc!

Great signings. Hope they get a great summer of training in and hit the ground running. Nothing brings players on better than being thrown in with some of the big guns.
Tetlow looks bloody exciting... absolute unit of a bloke and some good figures

I know he's a Dman but Elite prospects has him with only 1+8 in 114 EPL games.

Every EPL fan I've seen comment on the signing has praised Tetlow and are glad he's not playing against them anymore, Bee's fans upset he's gone. Seen a couple MK and Guildford fans say they were hoping they'd sign him too. I know the EPL was some way off of EIHL quality but if he's turning heads around their league and only 19, it's encouraging.

With these 2 and Ollie Betteridge I would think they'll be no young back up goalie?

With these 2 and Ollie Betteridge I would think they'll be no young back up goalie? It wouldn't surprise me if that is the case. I think a lot of teams will go with a back up under 23 goalie though. That means they only need 2 under 23 outskaters and they could then bring in another over 23 Brit should they so choose Wouldn't surprise me if we still have Mr Green as back up next year. I hope not. Especially with Armstrong still in the league doing Thommos bidding.... Dan Green is way out of his depth these days.

Whatever people think about Coreys tactics, he has a good record in developing players - Hopefully this will continue with these two and the best of luck to them.

You can have 19 players all at 40 years old if you wanted. The majority of teams rarely ice more than 19 anyway. It's only the top 3 or 4 teams that it really impacts. Even we would not need them if we chose to have the same team as last year(with Ollie being 1 obviously). However it is great to see us getting behind it and bringing these guys in. Hopefully, as we are most teams will chose to add some whether they need to within the rules or not.

Really like the look of these two. Here's the aforementioned video of Tetlow taking on Doug Clarkson.

I hope he is not so reckless when he plays for Panthers, taking on Clarkson, only going to be one outcome.

Wondered how long it would be before you graced this thread with your negativity - at least give the lads a chance to start the season and let us see what they are like first - some good vibes coming from other clubs regarding the pair of them - EIHL is different to EPL so we will all have to wait and see - but at least Panthers look like they are looking to the future - are you or are you consistently negative? ??

I hope he is not so reckless when he plays for Panthers, taking on Clarkson, only going to be one outcome. You can't call standing up for himself and teammates reckless. Bracknell don't have an established tough guy, when Telford have a Power Forward like Clarkson he's going to throw them around so to prevent that, Tetlow took to the plate. Clarkson has a lot of respect for him and won purely down to experience. I'm sure he's given Tetlow some pointers for the future.

Really happy with this start. Brits with potential are hard to come by so need to be a priority. I want us to build a good core so we can dominate in the future.

A Brit lad taking the oppositions top enforcer to the box for 10? Winner winner chicken dinner. Is he any good at running the net minder?
I would like to see us run a b team in the EPL full of the top young brits and a few spare imports.

If anything, just have Black stick a bit of money into the Lions, try and have them playing in the NIHL1 or whatever the new league will be called. It's surprising he hasn't formed an established link already.

Let's not get too excited. These guys are a couple of fillers who will come out when we are 5up, if they get a few points it's a bonus. Hopefully they will get some experience and progress.
Or they will be cut price sacrificial lambs who get thrown into the lions den when a couple of injury prone imports surprisingly get injured, tick the boxes and save some cash. Black panthers way.
