Rule book :-) Fair point. Lee then lol Think I could live with Lee as an A, as much as I dislike him, he knows the officials better than any of the imports so what's the worst that can happen!

Hoping Lee loses the A. Not sure what he actually does to deserve it!

Hoping Lee loses the A. Not sure what he actually does to deserve it! apart from being the only D man we've had through the masses of trophies we've won, fought for the team, tried to adapt his game to improve as a player and come back from multiple concussions, the guys done nothing. He seems to be respected by his peers in the game and gets a raw end of a lot of people's opinions (much like Clarke) that I feel are completely unnecessary.

I have often slated Lee in the past for the mistakes he has made, and it has been deserved criticism, but there's no denying his loyalty to Nottingham. He's an experienced player and if used correctly next season, as a stay at home dman, he should rediscover some form.
I would have no issue with him wearing an A.

I actually like Clarke and think he was a good captain stood up for his players but Lee isn't the same league. Lee makes consistent costly mistakes.

Is this loyalty or is it perhaps either a lack of ambition or no other club prepared to pay what the panthers pay for him and given imho that he has gone down hill over the last few years (pretty much since his concussion) i personally think he isnt worth his spot on the current roster...am sure we could have done better and again imho that goes for lachowiz too...

Lee has definitely lost the edge to his game since suffering the concussions but he's still better than Meyers ever was and Lachowicz currently is.

Has there been any announcement of who the captain and a's are this year? If not who do we think should get the letters now all the players have been signed. I think i would still go with
C brown A mosey A lee (only becuase he had it last year. Personally i wouldnt have him as an A) A possibly gagnon( looks like he would give a bit of everything for the cause)

Interesting to note - young lad is checked from behind last night, first player with his gloves off was Lee. He didn't just stand there, he went straight in with his history of concussions. Not saying that one action deserves the C but it was pre season and he stood to be accounted for

Yes pity it didn't happen when Gagnon was on the ice. I think we had five Brits on at the time...Lee,Lacho,Betteridge,Kelsall and Tetlow.

I'm actually happy with Lee as captain. He looks like he's worked hard over the summer and with a young team, his elite league experience will only help.
