And I'm confident Mr Moran might be making a healthy cut of those handsome profits too......Why else would it be only Panthers games you have to pay £8 for. ?? Can we not just have one period whilst a game is in progress where we can discuss the game and how it is going without having to have a personal dig at every occasion - Iginla, we all know your opinions we do not need them rammed down out throats at every occasion You,ve got no chance of that happening on here.

Tried to watch the match but everything about that webcast was absoubtley shocking worst webcast Iv ever watched. Won't be wasting £16 on it for the next 2 matches. Good result tho for the club.

Do we know who did and didn't play today? Did Lawrence return? Clarke? Can't get the game sheet to open.

Yes Larry played but Clarke did not. Schultz didn't play either.

Looks like panthers have let the usual 2 fans down again by winning after they wanted us to get spanked in every game!

Why do I read that the other games are shown free whilst Panthers games cost £8 then ?

Because 247 are doing the webcast, not the Panthers.

Because 247 are doing the webcast, not the Panthers. That doesn't answer the question Jono. Why are they charging Panthers fans £8 to watch their team and not the fans of the other teams. Sorry to be cynical, but it smacks of Morans sticky fingers all over it,once again maybe trying to squeeze every last penny out of the fans.

I'm working for 247, that's how I know. Panthers are making nothing from the webcast. It has nothing to do with them.

Like I said before,I'm very cynical. But if I had to guess,it would be that Moran is taking a cut from the £8 that 24/7 are getting, because he does not like anybody making money out of his team, especially when he isn't making any.

Believe what you like, if the truth isn't good enough for you then there isn't really any more I can say.

Believe what you like, if the truth isn't good enough for you then there isn't really any more I can say. I will Jono. I know how Moran works, look what happened when he found out the old supporters club had loads of money in the bank. He wanted it because he said it had been made out of HIS team ! 24/7 tv obviously saw an opportunity to make some money out of the hordes of Panthers fans and rightly took it,can't blame them for that. But I can't believe they knew about that, unless either Moran or somebody else tipped them off. However it came about though,it's not right that Panthers fans should have to pay whilst other fans don't. This is exactly why a lot of Panthers fans feel that they are just seen as cash cows and get taken for mugs. A topic there for TCW maybe.

Did all the clubs in the previous round get paid by Premier Sports?

Did all the clubs in the previous round get paid by Premier Sports? I have no idea. But I wouldn't have thought any club got paid by Premier. Sports.....isn't that why Eihl hockey is no longer on Premier.because the Eihl had to pay Premier, Unless of course Moran did a deal and fleeced his fans in the last round too !

Can I suggest that if any-one thinks that Panthers are making money out of things, and they do not like it, then they simply do not pay - it is a personal choice as are most things in life. Unfortunately what is not a choice (unless you stop using the forum altogether) is having to put up with peoples personal vendettas on a forum where every thread has to be used to get a dig in.

I would hazard a guess that the IIHF free live stream is blocked to the countries taking part in that particular game. So neither GB nor Denmark could receive the signal for the Panthers v Bulldogs game lat night, but both could receive the signal for the first game. Is that possible for them to do ? Don't they do this in the States with NFL/NHL games ? Or am I talking rubbish... Oh and that must have been a good performance last night. Hopefully they'll keep it up, both 1st game winners to meet today so a chance for us to almost book our place in the grand final.

It amazes me that so many people seem prepared to put up with being taken for mugs in all sorts of ways, yet just seem to accept it. Their choice yes,but change isn't happening by saying nothing and just accepting everything. Nobody's answered the question yet either, seeing as the fence was sat on again !

If the live stream is blocked to the various countries when their team is playing then I accept that. But we can only see what we can see and to me it looks like Panthers fans are being fleeced. You work for them....was it blocked to each country when their team was playing ?

I believe that Ukrainian TV are showing their games on their version of Sky Sports and as far as I'm aware they are the only broadcasting unit in Odense.

They provided a feed for the live stream on the IIHF website
