Angers get the win. Not quite the expected result. Yeah bit of a shock by all accounts. Big chance for Panthers to make the top 2 now?

I see this as a bad result for Panthers. Angers are better than what people think. There's no chance we ll beat dombass and they ll be upping their game now knowing no more slip ups required. I don't see us getting much tonight

Panthers make me laugh. there current news story about Kalus playing his swan song weekend and saying that he wanted to play so they decided to include him.
How amateur is that. you sacked him for being rubbish so you tell him No.
I might ring them up next week and tell them I want to play no doubt they will probably say yes!

Join me on commentary as Nottingham Panthers take on hosts Odense Bulldogs of Denmark in their first game of Continental Cup Group D. Face-off is at 7pm and the webcast is available for £8 from www.247.tv/eihl

Yes I've watched this today, I have just emailed them to see if they are streaming it. Pictures were very good.

the "swansong" for Kalus is an absolutely ludicrous press release. He wanted to play so they are letting him?! This sort of decision is what is leading to a lot of unrest within certain parts of the fanbase.
yes we need the body due to injuries however, giving someone called " crazy pete" the chance to suit up for us after we've sacked him could be risky, who's to say he wont go into business for himself and do something stupid at a key time jeopardizing our chances? yes that may be far fetched but its not out of the realms of possibility.

Much much improved performance so far, of course Kalus has been the best player so far.
Not sure about paying £8 to watch Jono commentate from his living room on a very glitchy low quality YouTube stream(Not even disguising that it's a YouTube stream too). I'm sure 247.tv had to pay for the rights to sell the stream, however given that the non-Panthers games are free I doubt that cost much. I'm confident they are making a very handsome profit off this.

Yes it's a shame the iihf are streaming the others free, obviously done a deal somewhere. For those that couldn't make the trip this is better than nothing at least people don't have to purchase tomorrow. Wiikmann been charged by Odense player and is injured now replaced by Henry, not good news.

Player made no attempt to avoid collision with Miika. I think it should have been called

No not really. 5-2 mcgrattan with a superb goal from Farms. This Web cast is running about 1-2 minutes behind aswell. Have to say Moran has been very good tonight and has logged a lot of minutes.

Can we not just have one period whilst a game is in progress where we can discuss the game and how it is going without having to have a personal dig at every occasion - Iginla, we all know your opinions we do not need them rammed down out throats at every occasion

Good win. If not a bit too close for comfort. Great chance of qualifying now.
Just hope Miika isn't too badly injured.

Good win that. We think this group might come down to goal difference.
