I think we can forget any dreams about finishing top 2 in qualifying for the final. Simply avoiding 3 heavy defeats will be a bonus. I'm so down on the team at the moment!

Hopefully we get smashed on the scoreboard and on the IR table!! Then it will really present the management with something to think about

At the start of the season the Continental Cup was the target of Neil Black. No mention of the League/Play Offs etc. A particularly poor showing this next week will not go down well with him.

I'm betting that there are some happy people who are higher ups within the organization that are relieved that there are no home games this week as there are probably hoping that this all goes away.

Got a problem later (with all this losing at home) because we have a heavy home schedule coming up and people will expect results. You know how HOME games are supposed to be easier? to win. But with a return from the continent maybe hindering the domestic? Then a few AWAY games to get under our skin, we'll have no 'good' period in the league less we get a grip of all this. This is the second best Euro competition afterall. I'm not fussed.

I expect them to try and compete, but ultimately fall at this hurdle. Perhaps 3rd behind the Danes & Ukrainians.
I don't buy into using this as an excuse for poor form domestically, just as I didn't the Champions League or the last time we were in this one. The club should be able to manage the number of games and make a decent effort at all competitions we're in.

Sick to death of excuses

Sick to death of excuses For a start......it would help if we had the full 22 players. Instead Panthers make excuses, whinge and whine that we have to play short, just like they did against Sheffield. Sign a full squad and even with some injuries we wouldn't be so bloody short would we ! With only six Brits the maximum we can ice is only twenty players and that's with Green as back up.

Can't see anything other than more failure here. The team is spineless, disinterested and seriously lacking the talent needed to progress.

Clarke out too and we are pretty toothless and Schultz being five or six weeks ahead of schedule would have made that pretty near a season ending injury.

If they thought from time of getting injured that Schultz was going to miss that long,he should have been replaced immediately. That is typical Panthers and exactly why we need a change in the clubs culture !

So that's Schultz Clarke and waugh out then .. excellent . This increases our chances of getting absolutely hammered all 3 days and serves the club right trying to prioritise this over the league

This is quite a dilemma, I want the Panthers to win, I want the Panthers to advance but if they do advance, I don't the higher-ups then think that the current run of form and level of performances is over and do nothing whereas if they don't advance, the changes we want may happen.
