Sounds a good move and a decent reaction in terms of injury cover.
Can't really knock Panthers this season, spare import NM and immediate injury cover for a crocked import.
Hopefully a sign that lessons have been learnt from last season.

petr Kalus adds an extra goal scoring dimension to our team. He won't go hurtling back when he loses the puck but he'all score more than enough to justify his place in the team. He puts pressure on forwards to perform and gives us a chance to rest injuries going forward. I am beyond happy with this move

Released from Orli after 3 games, wasn't on the top forward lines so struggled to get anything going. Zvolen then swooped at him with a try-out but i guess we offered him a deal before the try-out concluded.
Great numbers in Denmark and France since leaving. Very happy and delighted we've acted so quickly with the Schultz news. Would've been nice to know if it's a season long deal or rolling contract, he's our 16th Import technically.
Should provide a great assistance to us anyway.

Holy sh... err, crikey and cor blimey! Got to admit... that's some impressive work by the club, a very fast replacement. No doubt they've been keeping tabs on Kalus, possibly even kept in contact with him... but I can't see anything but the positive in this move. Well done Neilson/Moran/Black/whoever.

I'm happy with this signing, we know what we are getting. He knows what he's getting, win win. With Schultz out for a month we needed someone to come in. Though I have a feeling Clarke is going to Be off too. I hope not but good on Panthers getting someone in and fast.

Didn't Kakus get someone to join us before the season started, might have been Pacl?

Just to add;
Lawrence and Lee are expected to back in the next 2 weeks, probably later rather than sooner within that time period.
Kalus being the 16th Import, Lawrence and Schultz out for 2 and 4 weeks respectively. We'll still be dressing 14 imports but the 14th being Pacl.

Good work by Panthers
Steelers are suggesting they won't bring in cover for Levi Nelson who will be out for up to six weeks.

Edited the original post so it's clear now, apologise though!

Good work by Panthers Steelers are suggesting they won't bring in cover for Levi Nelson who will be out for up to six weeks. Their fans are under the impression than they'll throw Kirk in to play in his position till he returns. Big opportunity for the kid, obviously i hope it means Steelers are a weakened side for the foreseeable future but i hope Kirk impresses. Not too many kids getting a chance with the bigger EIHL clubs recently.

Absoloutly love this news. Kalus was fantastic last time. Whilst not anyway near the levels of Linger or Bruce Richardson he can play with an edge to his game too. I'm sure he'll enjoy having McGratton around.

Yes a excellent pick up and short notice. Knows the surroundings well and adds a bit of scoring punch too.
Be nice if he's here for the season the when all fit we can have a healthy scratch.
Good work panthers

Not really that short a notice he's been tapped up since Scotland as they thought Schultz would be out long term then, but since everyone keeps targeting him he's now back to square one . At least he gets to rest proper although he's not relishing the commentator job on the highlights reel...he did say that jokingly by the way. Larry's a worry tho' as concussion was mentioned tonight so that's at least two weeks. They have said a month for Schultz but it depends how he heals I'd take a guess at 6 weeks minimum no good rushing him back. The guys knew someone was coming in and Geoff Waugh asked if he was any good. We put him right.....crazy Pete.

Pacl was on our team last night. Him and Kalus are pretty tight and it was Pacl who got him to come back.
