Yeah it cost money but so does everything in sport. Save up over the year you know it's coming!! I enjoy the POFW. Dress up, drink plenty, meet fans, gather your friends, watch hockey, sing and dance and just let it be. Life too short so don't take it so seriously you'll never make it out alive!! I for one will be there having a great time regardless if we make it

Some will still pay, it's just that the game worn jerseys will be sold for less money.

All I'm saying is that at the current price its not that much if you put away a little each month to pay for the weekend when it arrives. So many negatives about the weekend on here, if you don't want to pay for it don't go. If you think its not what it used to be don't go. It works well enough for those who enjoy it which from looking around last year was basically everyone there.

Loads of room for dancing too. They have only just started selling block 6.

Of course you can save, but the league shouldn't milk you for every penny they realistically can. When tickets for the regular season max at £17/£18 per game, how can they justify a weekend pass that works out to £29 each? There are negatives because they've got complacent and charge more every year for ever-decreasing returns. It'll still be a fun weekend but it would be regardless, most of the enjoyment comes from the people rather than what the arena put on.

A few years ago and we didn't know if we were going to be able to make the weekend so delayed buying tickets for a couple of weeks and ended up having to sit in the Sheffield overspill as nothing else was left and to make it the perfect weekend Sheffield beat us in the semis too lol

What year did Sheffield beat us in a semi. Don't remember that I have had therapy since then and it's just a nightmare that wakes me up screaming every now and again

That's interesting. To me that says ticket sales are not as strong as they have been in previous years. Don't we normally sell out all of our block allocation to season ticket holders?

Ticket sales are well down on previous years at the moment. Either people waiting to see if we actually get there or alot of people just havent been paid yet.

Don't we normally sell out all of our block allocation to season ticket holders? I've never had a season ticket, yet have always sat in the Panthers section. Only once when we had an extra block allocated to us.

Ticket sales are well done on previous years at the moment. Either people waiting to see if we actually get there or alot of people just havent been paid yet. Probably waiting for the 1st pay day after Christmas, perhaps pick up next week. Although couldn't blame people for waiting after our last 2 failures.

I may be wrong but I think it's a bit earlier this year. Seem to recall usually beeing paid as they go on sale. Certainly only a few days difference. Maybe it was intentional as to stem the rush at the beggining. Then they go on general sale as everybody is pretty much paid. Making it "fairer" for all.

Seems the recent apathy is spreading to playoff weekend. Blocks 5,6&7 are pretty full, but you can get a group of 4 tickets as low as row P in block 8 and as low as E in block 9

Cardiff only have a few seats left in their block. As for Panthers, we have not made it the last two seasons, so people will be holding back before parting with the cash. Overall the allocation is crazy, why do Edinburgh and Dundee have their own block, they would struggle to sell out block 1 combined. Braehead could probably fill three blocks and I would guess Cardiff could probably fill block 15 and 16.

I meant just with us. We normally sell out straight away then spill over and get allocated the general blocks. Thats why the general blocks are either side of us

Guess missing out last two seasons has impacted sales as people won't wanna go if team is not there.

Cardiff block 15 sold out now and clan now allocated block 4, they're not bringing supporters club but coming down in big groups.

I'll enjoy the weekend as much as last year. In the pub waiting on you all coming out between periods and games. Sister will collect the programme and won't have to worry about what I'll miss on the concourse because I know already that there will literally be nowt there. Don't want my face painting so have voted with my feet as people say I should. No worries about queuing for tickets anymore. I just hope I can greet people coming out after a Nottingham win.

Got my tickets today, hopefully the Panthers make it this year. However I hope some effort is put into the presentation this year, unlike last year where it was game, nothing then the 2nd game and that was it.
To me it is the finale to the season, hopefully it will be a great weekend. I also hope that all hard core fans from all the teams are able to get tickets.

Got my tickets in a block & row that I usually sit in for regular games and I find perfect, so I'm very very happy! My first play-off and I can't not see the Panthers getting through, we've failed in the league but I believe if this team puts 100% into a game, they will win it.
Seems Braehead got awarded Block 4 and have already sold up to row R but I can imagine that's only because they think they're going to win the league & play-offs. If we don't make it, at least Panthers & Clan fans will combine as one to support Panthers B team. Apparently there are less than 200 seats left now in Panthers blocks but I know people who are holding out for Block 10 to be given to the Panthers as the Blaze still haven't sold out Row A yet and they don't fancy Row V in the current blocks!

It's times like this when you wonder just where this league would be without the Panthers fans.
Other teams should remember that !
