Yes he was because he played poo poo. He shows no passion and want to win. Does that answer your question?! People hate an opinion on here. but live a dig Thank you for finally answering my question. Thank you for not getting this from my Original statements that he's poo poo and needs to go.

I suggest watching football, might be more your speed. He isn't a physical player and never has been. Look up what a two way forward is and try again. You couldn't hit water jumping off the high dive let alone a nail on the head with that drivel of a comment. I already watch football and I'm very aware of what a two way player does during a game. So before you continue with your poo poo replies to my opinion let's just take a minute to think. Hockey is a physical sport. Fact. He should be finishing his hits regardless of his role. Mosey does and its not his job to go out and hit and be physical is it. Your defiantly lachos dad or uncle or close friend or lover because you stick up for him by the powers that's only love can bring. So maybe we should give you some alone time to calm down and when you take of the Lacho tinted glasses we can talk about how little he's contributed this season. I've been highy critical of his game over the past three seasons but as of late his game has found a more solid and steady pace. You get players that aren't physical, Mosey is a physical player and has been since he first came here. There are numerous players around the league and in big leagues who are not physical. He has contributed little in terms of points, defensively he's been ine of most capable players. Offensive wins you games, defence wins you championships. If we had him on a line with players more capable of a two way game (consistently together over the season like with Ryan/Bellamy, Salters/Francis) we'd probably see an upturn in point production. Chopping lines up does nobody any favours and tonight was undeniable proof of that. His game as of late has been fine. Not spectacular by any means but the effort has been there. I'd gladly have him back next season provided he is managed correctly.

Lazy and half interested but with potential if he gets a rocket up the backside.

Just to add some stats to the discussion:- www.eliteleague.co.uk/top-scorers-2/Love him or hate him, that level of points return is incredibly poor. A goal every 10 games. A point every 3 games.

Last year Lacho failed to live up to the high standards he'd produced in the GS season, and even the year after when he played with Franny & Salters. This year not only has his point production gone down further, his level of play has gone further back. I can't think of another Brit International in the league who contributes less, you look at Peacock & Garside last night, offensive players but quite willing to throw checks/take hits/get hurt. I know Lacho isn't the same build, but if he's not compensating for his inability to be physical by playing smart then he's almost a liability. First period he played really well, reading the game, yes he missed a good chance but better players than him have missed, you have to be there to shoot. 2nd and 3rd periods - back to his tentative self, almost like he sensed the crowd on his back. He wasn't alone in that last night, but where does he go from here. I'm sure any other team in the league would have him, maybe he needs a fresh start. He then becomes another in the long list of Nott'm trained players who are lost to the team.

Don't you know points are completely irrelevant for a FORWARD who is simply a great 2 way player Ted?! Apparently 2 way means you can be useless going forward these days.

When he came back to us after that season at Manchester, he looked a real prospect. He then kicked on and in the Grand Slam season, he was right up there with the top Brit forwards (Clarke/Dowd/Shields) in the league. Simms even described him as the 'Boy Wonder' he was that good. Since then, I don't know what's happened. Yes, he's lost good line mates like Billy Ryan and Matt Francis but all players in the league have to cope with that kind of issue. He was over a PPG in the GS season and he is the type of forward that will be judged on point production. He doesn't get the points that Clarke does and he just doesn't make up for the lack of points by doing the dirty work like Myers/Farmer. Yes, he's often effective on the PK but at the moment that's about it and it's not enough.

I agree Ted. He just doesn't do anywhere near enough, gone backwards big time, scared of his own shadow and seems pretty disinterested most of the time.
Needs a massive kick up the backside and to start looking over his shoulder too with the extra import coming in next year, because as a Brit he won't be in such demand in the future.

He cant be resigned next year surely. Hes just not effective this year. He does bits a pieces but hes just not a consistent threat. I dont know whats happened used to be one of my favorite players. Needs to go somewhere else and see if he can find his mojo again.

He's improved dramatically over the last few weeks, creating nice plays and putting himself in more pysical situations. It's a tricky one to call as to whether i feel if we should keep or get rid, i was originally in the get rid party but after these last few weeks my opinion has swayed somewhat. If he gets an offer from Europe this offseason, i'd prefer it if he took it with both hands, it'll probably be the last offers from outside the UK he gets. Import numbers do increase next season by 1, i don't feel like we should sacrifice Lachowicz just yet in favour of another import forward. Dropping a player like Lee may be for the greater good, or maybe even letting Swindlehurst go, his departure on loan to Storm is yet to have had an impact on us.
To summarise, Lacho is very hit and miss and it's difficult, especially lately, to formulate a confident opinion on him and whether he's worth re-signing.
