Another fantastic signing, never had the pace according to his elite prospects bio, so wont have lost any of that, and Ling could still do it at 38 so why cant this bloke. scored over a ppg in Finnish Liiga only 2 years ago for the short time he was there, our forwards have the potential to be lethal this season good things come to those who wait... (on paper anyway!) You forgot to mention that also on the elite prospects bio along with his lack of speed, they mention lack of size, and that he is on the downgrade Sorry couldn't resist, but in all seriousness he looks a quality centre and should put up plenty of points.

A lot of players have come here in the twighlight of their careers. Our league often allows them a chance to flourish again due to the level compared to where the league's they come from.

Like I said when someone suggested we sign him in another thread ... I can't be happier. My surname is Moran so gives me the chance to have my surname on my jersey. Something I haven't wanted to do because of GM.
That and he looked a cracking signing. Still is. Can't wait for the season.

Yep, besides which we're actually quite well placed in the Dads Army Stakes: Giants 30.83 Steelers 29.38 Clan 28.41 Flyers 28.11 Panthers 28.10 Devils 27.52 Stars 27.13 Blaze 26.64 Storm 25.43 Capitals 24.50 (Average age of roster so far.) Be like Jurassic Park over at the O (or whatever it's called now) this year

Great signing. If we can have a tough enforcer added to look after the team I'll be well happy.

Bob Wren 536 AHL games for 502 points at 0.94PPG Not wanting to pee on your parade but stats dont mean everything Firstly again good use of the MBa at Loughborough. Secondly with regard to Bob Wren he had serious health issues which were not diagnosed until later. At the time he could not understand why he often had low energy levels. A lot of the criticism he has attracted are very unfair.Lets hope he is the one whom CN has been very particular to get as the play making centre, which has been missing. Agreed, especially since, on the games he did play, he was scoring at over a point a game.

I think the reference to Bob isn't that he was terrible or anything, just that he wasn't as lights out brilliant as his career stats suggested he would be, so we shouldn't build up Not-Gary too much before we've seen what he's about first hand. Even the coach is comparing him to DL already. He wouldn't be the first to not hit the hyped heights and seem a little disappointing.

Good in his day but looks like a "grab a uni offer while my reputation still sells" doubt he will meet expectations, still need toughness

Nice work Panthers.
Not being rushed into signings can pay off.

Now this is a outstanding capture! Im actually staggered we were able to snag him tbh. Corey must pair him and Kolnik together as with their higher qualities will be on a similar understanding. If they gel could be very lethal and potent.
Excellent work panthers

"GMB Panthers News @gmbpanthersnews 2h2 hours ago #npanthers #eihl Coach closing in on last signing and is still smiling on the last one" "Escaped panther in Italy is proving difficult to catch - because it may be vegetarian dailym.ai/1WoqlVv" Perhaps this is the last one which is proving difficult?

Looks like the last signing should be a good one too by the last release.

Very, very pleased with this signing! I mentioned his name in one of the other threads, Corey must have taken note!

Take it that comprehension isn't your strength.... EP says that his lack of size & strength is a downside, not that he is on the downside (downgrade) in general. If he's interested this is a top signing. V.happy with this one.

There's a forum for tongue in cheek comments from Belfast Giants' fans. Here's the link if you're still struggling with the comprehension thing - www.kingdomofthegiants.com/
