Why would he need a work permit? He's Swedish. apologies yes any eu goalie would be fine unless they put a restriction on itc cards . Certainly makes for a lot of Europeans coming into the league netminder wise . I think that would be against EU law to put restrictions on EU players

He'd take up one of the 2 non-permit import slots, because he's not British trained, but other than that there's no restriction on him.

just had a pint in bunkers and heard kalus back to the eihl I'd have him back at panthers I would but apparently the feeling was that he was tactically not that aware. My own feeling was that he was tremendous on the puck and capable of getting through defences with his skills on the puck - something we have lacked. Certainly his last goal was decisive and showed how skilful he was.

I'd take Kalus as our dual national.

No thanks, puck hogger and not a team player, we need people who can carry the puck through 2/3 players, but not Kalus. Someone of Fox's ilk would be much more effective

Someone of Fox's ilk would be much more effective I think he "hogged" the puck a lot because he was the fastest and most skilled player on the team and no one could keep up with him

I believe that Panthers are in advanced discussions with Derek Mathers for next season. This would be the perfect response to Giants signing Nickerson IMO. He has the size and presence to be the equalizer. He also fought with Lepine 3 times last season. A bums on seats man.

Also, it appears that he already has a contract for the 15/16 season?

A bums on seats man. looks one dimensional on paper, but look at Tim Spencer as a prime example, who put up 34 points the season he was with Sheffield, having averaged very few prior to joining them. If Corey goes down the steroetypical "tough guy" route, he wont want a one dimensional player as there isnt room for them on an EIHL roster as we've seen previously. I'd say if this is true he'd be good for 25 points, as well as being there as a deterrant when needed

Would hate to sign him... He lost fights to lepine and lepine lost fights over he isn't a real tough guy.
That's what Penner was is a real tough guy

Not lost to him. There won't be many tougher in the league than him. Perhaps we won't get players out through head injuries!

All tough guys lose fights, it's more about the willingness to fight and protect that they bring to a team and as he's young he'll be wanting to prove himself so will be very game!! Saying that I would prefer someone who's abit bigger and can tower over players like Henley did

the perfect player would be a salters with Henleys height

Lacho to Cardiff rumour won't go away.
If he tries mainland Europe or North Anerica fair enough but I would be pretty annoyed if he signs for another EIHL team.
