You are welcome to him. Been garbage for 2 years. Hes shys away from the physical play even more now .he'll love it in bbt ! Over 100 points in those 2 years. That's better than Myers has managed. Garbage is a ridiculous over exaggeration. Talking nonsense shocker....

Basically if he signs on again or not it won t bother me and even without him im very happy at the current GB acquisitions

Im with Pidge on this. On last year anyway. He was garbage. If you took his performaces compared to expectations there would not be a fan who wouldn't have been calling for him to be gassed if he were a new import to the team. I have always been a big fan of his & i'd rather him at Panthers than any other elite league team(hoping he will get back to his best), but if performs like he did last season then it would be no great loss.

All tough guys lose fights, it's more about the willingness to fight and protect that they bring to a team and as he's young he'll be wanting to prove himself so will be very game!! Saying that I would prefer someone who's abit bigger and can tower over players like Henley did not really because farmer did that and also the only thing I remember Henely doing is cheep shot Spencer (which was great) but he lost to Spencer in Sheffield and he beat up Harvey. didn't really like him.
the perfect player would be a salters with Henleys height
Lost to spence in Sheffield?? I was there, Henley let a bomb through which really shook spencer, so spencer decided to go for the takedown, can't remember spencer landing a punch? What about when Henley was threatening Harper in the box for cross checking Clark? Constantly shouting over telling him he's having it when he comes out, we scored three goals in about 5 minutes after that as the whole of the breahead team were scared that Henley was going to flip his lid..

Agree if he was a import id have wanted him gassing ages ago. I won't be crying if he doesn't return thats for sure. And besides we perhaps could do with his wage to sign a better quality 3rd line import or dual nat as Matty won't be cheap.

Brits are cheaper now because of the dual national situation. Thats why players have been dropping down to EPL to earn more than they could at Elite League level.

Lachowicz to Devils! Done deal apparently The signing wouldn't make sense. With Bownes in goal, the Devils can use the extra duel national as an outskater, Devils will have Richardson & Batch (and possibly another lower end Brit like Turner as their 7th guy)along with 4 imports at the back, and then roll with 9 import forwards and a couple of young/lower end brits like Harding/Piggott/Jones making up 10/11th spots on the roster, can't see Lacho moving to Cardiff to be that 10th guy (nor can I see Devils having 5 import D and having Batch as their 7th guy which would then create a space for Lacho in the top 9) If Cardiff were going to run 4 lines, I'd imagine they'd have kept Myers or at least brought back Ben Davies from Clan. Myers is better suited in the smaller rink than Lacho due to his size and crash & bang style of play, Lacho is more suited to the larger ice with his speed & skill set. All that said, this is the EIHL and stranger things have happened

That doesn't mean they were excellent, but neither were they garbage. He was the 3rd highest in points on the team last season, season before he was fourth, he's contributing even if not setting the world on fire. A move abroad might be beneficial, but I don't see how going to Cardiff would be compared to staying in Nottingham, and it would be silly of Panthers to let about 50 points a season walk out the door, particularly as there must be a huge question mark over whether Dave Clarke can complete a full season after last year.

And with the Kelman / GM relationship there's every chance we would be signing one of Cardiff's players should that happen. They get Doucet, we get Myers. They get Lacho, we get Bowns (potentially). Would anyone take that? Evidently Bowns is very good but I never had the feeling he was ever in control of the game when we played Cardiff last year, there was a lot of flapping around and desperation saves (which look spectacular but there is an amount of luck in pulling them off) being made rather than calm and collective play from him (can't speak to what he was like against other teams though). Reminded me of Zemlak... only a tad better.

True, but I can't see Cardiff letting Myers go (or at least brought Davies back from Braehead) if they hadn't secured Bowns? You might be right, but I think its an odd move, especially with Lacho "wanting to explore his options in Europe"

Lacho is my most anticipated signing now, not just because he's my favorite player but also I want to know where the bloody hell he's actually going

Lacho suffered the most last year with no protection.

Would take Francis back in a heartbeat, wouldn't mind cook back tho he is 33 now and may have lost some of his athleticism he had before?

I'm agreeing with Pidge for once which will never happen again..... Lacho can go for me, he's half the player he was two seasons ago. He's stagnated & could do with a change of club.

I would take cook as well as Francis because he could score good goals and that's the thing we missed most last year before doucet... it would be nice to sign a proven goal scorer early after last year plus not in the box a lot and that's what we need from a point/goal scorer unlike Lawrence always getting put in for x-checking and slashing
