What's bigger than a big game? The apparent holes in the Steelers defence.

Tough tough game with potentially 2 imports down. Bois could return for Sheffield apparently.

Lawrence is fit to play so look set to be just 1 import down.
Maybe they can get someone in for the weekend. Fussey? Robinson???

And more likely ftm maybe they wont bother... Why do you need to get somebody in every time you have an injury?? Jacina is out for a couple of weeks, hardly counts as needing to get someone in desperately.
You won't be the only team an import or two down this weekend.

With the crowds we get 1 injury should not result in us playing short handed. That is the point.....

You have to find a player that is good enough to be involved but is also happy to just play for maybe 1 weekend and then sit in the stands until required again. That's not easy.
Why also potentially risk the team ethic and bond your side seem to have created between themselves for the sake of not playing one short at the weekend. Especially as the teams your playing against will also be playing short.

I'm going up to this one, and its the first time I've seen Panthers away at Sheffield. Would anyone be able to recommend a good place to park around the Motorpoint Arena on game day?

There's plenty of parking on site.

Whilst I'd personally be against bringing in a short term fix, because they normally aren't up to much, if we had a spare (or spares) from the start, they'd be a part of that team ethic and bond. If when we signed the roster it was made clear to all of them that there'd be a selection per game based on form, effort in training etc, then provided the coach treated them all fairly in that respect - and he has some iffy form there IMO, hello Nick Toneys - there shouldn't be a problem. Competition should be good thing. They'll all be used to playing in sides with more players than spaces on the game night roster. Obviously that ship has sailed now, but I think that's what the folks who want to see this are after, and if any side in the league should be able to do it, it should be us. Doesn't look like something the club want to do though. Obviously this year we did have extras, but because of the CHL, and injuries meant we never had to sit anyone I don't think.

Spot on Yotes.
They are saying two weeks for Jacina..........but we have heard that before. He's got a head injury,so they're guessing, who know's it could end up being 3-4 weeks, look at Danny Bois at Sheffield he's only played one game so far.
We should sign a spare.

Hopefully they'll add some interest by putting a ferret in the bag with the balls.

Bet neither Semi will be Panthers v Squeelers and bet the Squeelers tie will be the home side

Would love 2 points but I'd be thrilled to go to overtime here. Shut down Roy Cropper and that Forney bloke and we limit them greatly.

Tough game, not expecting 2 points. I'll be happy with anything but a regualtion loss.
Their top line the 'FFR' line hasn't been too good when playing against us, we have conceded the least goals in the league which in theory suggests we have one of the best defences and goaltenders. Modig is a brilliant goalie and hopefully he continues his form since returning and gets us 2pts and his 3rd consecutive MOM. If anything this game will be a defensive battle, who evers defence and goalie plays better on the night should take this one easy.

All teams are going to win and loose this year and Steelers like the Panthers are very up and down. Depends what teams turn up tonight.

A lot could depend on whether Bois is fit and looking to make an impact on his home debut. If we are in front at the end of the 1st I would fancy us to hit them on the break as they have looked quite vulnerable to breakaways especially when trailing.

I think if he didn't retire and came to us we wouldn't have Wild, think he was the replacement for Ward, i may be wrong though.

I thought both were signed for season As we signed Cohen for Wild when it became apparent he would be arriving late
