But if he's on a short-term visa he can't stay for too much longer anyway can he?

Would've thought non-EU work permits are dealt with on a country by country basis.

Perhaps we should combine the two songs into one for him:
So here's to you Nathan Robinson, Panthers love you more than you will know, So please don't go
Repeat until he signs a new contract

i think he will move on to a higher league sadly ! For now he is the one player we have who makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, he is a high risk player and wonderful to watch, the shame is the players are now on the same page as him, so if he goes it will be back to square one
if we could by some miracle keep him he will smash this league for us.

Do people think that Robinson may stay in light of the westgarth news? Makes the league look a tad more appealing with that calibre of signing.(hats off to Belfast by the way)

TBH I think the only thing that'll keep him in Nottingham is if he doesn't get any offers to play a higher level, Germany in particular. In his interview with Jono he was quite open about where his ambitions for the season lie.
It'd be nice to know one way or the other now, so we at least know what we've got and CN can look at making any additions that are needed.

Makes the league look a tad more appealing with that calibre of signing.(hats off to Belfast by the way) Sadly (or realistically!) money talks. No matter how more 'appealing' the signing of an ex-NHLer may make the league appear Westgarth is here for whatever reason is important to him, Robinson for whatever is important to him. Given Westgarth has dropped directly from the NHL I can't see his move being money-related (though I doubt he is on peanuts) but I'm not sure the same could be said for Robinson (though this is no slight on him, player's careers are relatively short, they have to make hay whilst the sun is shinning). If someone shakes some money at Robinson (especially a higher league) I'm sure he'll disappear quicker than a wedding buffet with DS the BS in attendance.
