Lets hope Clarke and Higgins are back soon, after all the pre Elite league fixtures first game the players in each line changed or was this my imagination, a win is a win but for me and the fans around me (block 10) a little bit disappointing, if panther do go back to CHL lines one would think Clarke for Podlesak, Higgins back in line 1 with Benedict, Greham, or put ? I think I've lost the plot, can anyone put me straight. PP 0/8 what was that all about Podlesak isn't returning. But I think Clarke and Higgins back will make a huge difference. Especially on the powerplay. If we by some miracle keep Robinson it will put the cat among the pigeons for roster slots. I know I started this thread as a criticism but I have to admit against the Devils Robinson was a pleasure to watch. My concern stands that he could get frustrated again like he did in the CHL and that frustration may be with his line mates but I would love that to become an unfounded concern. I like the idea of him mentoring Lacho.

If Higgins and mark lee are declared fit to play, who is going to sit out Saturday? I dont think Mark Lee will be selected until Tues v Hamburg unless we have injury doubts as it would be his first game for us. I think both games will be physical this weekend, so not sure they are the best games for either to come into.

Would make sense to play lee and Higgins against hamburg rather than take someone out this weekend who's fully fit already.

Mark Lee won't be playing for a long time, never mind this weekend and I don't think we will see Higgins for at least a couple of weeks either,Clarkey maybe another week or two.

I thought clarkey was expected to make his return against Cardiff last weekend. If he misses another weekend that is a major set back. With the club would communicate better on the injury front. I wonder if they think it will impact on the attendance if we appear to be short?

Mark Lee did the ice bucket challenge not long ago in our arena and was skating round tipping water on his head. What's wrong with him ?

Has he been made to feel unwelcome then? I dont think so. Would be nice for us to show our appreciation more, to make him want to stay longer is what I was getting at. On a separate note, and purely being nosey, why was your original username Cov81? Did you see the light and convert?

I think the block 4 boys need to come up with a song for Robinson.
And there's got to be one for Evan Mosey too please.

Something along the lines of Mrs Robinson should be achievable: So here's to you Nathan Robinson Panthers love you more than you will know So score a goal Nathan Robinson And show those others how to play hey hey hey hey hey hey

Don't give up It just takes a Deke from Evan And their D man will be on his side Soon You'll find That he's one on one with their goalie It's another goal It's another goal from Evan!

So Robinson gets a deserved m.o.m, for at least keeping the effort up. He didn't want to go and receive it, no-one made much of an effort to congratulate him, he hardly joined in the skate round, and went straight off a different way to the rest of the team. What was that all about ? FWIW, I expected so much more of him against Elite League opposition, maybe he is on a different wavelength to the rest of the team.

Robinson confirmed staying for another 2 weeks as cover for parent. Good news I think as he seems to be finding his feet over recent weeks.

Clearly a very good player and when he was on a line with Lacho, that was something special however for me, commit or release. The sooner we are settled the better.
If he did leave, id like to see his wages spent on "the forth line", the three youngsters have done really well, id love to see us step them up full time.

Why release him and leave ourselves short and bring in someone who has to learn the systems? Use Robinson until Parent is fit and we're at full strength then add an extra import

It's not just our choice to release him,he's just waiting for a decent offer and then he will be gone.
Remember at Panthers he's probably earning 25% of what he was in the DEL.
