I don't go as often as I used to, primarily because the league isn't really going anywhere, but another major reason was that it bugged me how many of our fans simply don't know the rules. Only so many times you can hear someone complain about this penalty or that when it's clear as day.

The original poster nate24 refers to people who clearly have a lack of respect for others and no idea how to conduct themselves politely in a public environment. Personally, i have also come across rude, obnoxious people at the arena whilst watching Panthers games. Any behaviour that is offensive to others and/or ruining their enjoyment of a game is justifiably moaned about in my opinion.

Whilst we are ranting:
Two men in block 15 continually turning round at every opportunity to look at women please stop it is so uncomfortable it's unreal. If anyone thinks I am being paranoid 4 couples this season have changed seats away from them because they felt uncomfortable. Cringeworthy.

flyer....... Just a thread, people being honest. At 'our' barn we get big crowds, more turnover= more possibility. Obviously you have little problem, so it means the same for others.....have a good day but if not let us know and we'll dissect it for you. Lol

the two things that annoy me most are people not sitting back in their seats, I often have to ask people to sit back on numerous occasions and get a rude response from them. I would help massively if people were reminded of the rules/ etiquette more often over the PA system. The second is people walking down the stairs whilst the puck is in play, but more annoying than that, walking up the stairs whilst the puck is in play when there are clearly people waiting at the bottom of the stairs for a reason..

Wow! I opened a can of worms!
What I would say is that in 60 odd games this was my first bad experience and if you read all of these it is all trivial stuff that mounts up and has to be let out now and again.
I love going to games because I know the crowd is good, I hope to get season tickets from the season after next which will be awesome!

Now then, 2points or so behind Cardiff now....what the chance in having that scenario come play off semis not been there a while now. The Station Hotel was still up in those days. Mind, you'd have to BEHAVE......

Yes I know I am old school, but I always try to be polite when I have to disturb people in their seats and say excuse me. The number of people who stand there and expect you to know where they are going annoys me.

Thankfully where we sit we are rarely bothered by people moving during play, and as the majority of our small section are season ticket holders, we are not generally troubled by folk sitting forwards or being generally obnoxious.
I do however have to plead guilty to shouting for calls that I know are likely correct. I do it, the players do it, and it makes me feel better to get it out of my system. That's what builds an atmosphere IMO, and when it comes to just sitting nice and quietly applauding I shall probably give in.
I would though desist immediately if someone around me said it was spoiling their enjoyment, as that is what we are all there for in the end.

The National Anthem - please stand up, and don't change the lyrics! This really gets to me as well not the lyrics so much, but get off your fat backside for the Anthem, especially hate to see parents doing this with their kids with them really brilliant role models . While we are ranting Michael Jackson has no place in Hockey Music.

Obviously tonight is not the time to add to this rant thread... but I'm gonna anyway. The ticket system - every time I load games onto my season tickets, one of them doesn't work. Go to the desk, phone em up, online, doesn't matter what, never flipping works. Utterly useless. The old system never had a problem with it. Still, good result

People that put their feet on the seat in front. Not just the back of the seat but the padded bit that people then have to sit on.

Panthers fans cheering when Fata got hit in the face From a deflected shot, and then laughing when he couldn't stand up behind his bench.
