There is commentary somewhere but it's not with me - unfortunately I'm still in exile in Salford. Owen You there as well Owen? I'm sure I heard Colin Fray on the BBC red button coverage the other day, how did you both end up doing that? Yeah, you heard Fray doing continuity announcing on the red button. I'm not doing anything anywhere near as exciting - I sit in an office watching the footage come in and typing up the logs. Nowhere near a microphone!

I was shopping in town with my visiting girlfriend (from Banbury) this afternoon and it would have been a late rush to get to the match. On the radio broadcast listening to number FIVE go in and we are beating each other up for not going ....lol
10-3 0n aggregate thus far...phew

Jacina goal very similar to the Ryan goal.
Straight out of the penalty box. Gets the puck. Goal

Steelers imploding is a reflection as much on Smith as the players. Organizationaly they are in trouble and Smith has to wear the blame for that one. Steeler fans need to ask Smith the questions about what off ice issues he or his mgt team have crested that has impacted the team ( same as last year). He may have saved them with his dollars( 3yrs ago) but he has also driven them back into the ground with his mgt style. Panthers should save some these goals for Belfast, will be a good final.

Norton getting hardly any shifts again, are they really trying to mess his confidence up? He deserves better respect! Hasn't done anything wrong all season! Big O in my opinion playing well tonight and as per Kwall is big! Oh and wait we have scored more than 1 goal!! The forwards seem to have realised what their job is!

Good result. Sheffield were never in the game and the score line makes it look alot better than it was for them!

Wasn't there tonight but on the Norton topic he has looked horribly out of his depth at times this season.

Disagree totally only happened once tonight when he was on and that's maybe because he wasn't out on for the 1st 30 minutes? How about at the start of the season? And midway through? He's been playing solid D, your proper stay at home D man, he's not there to make big plays just to avoid getting scored on and when he was getting regular ice time you look at his +/- think you'll find it is one of the best!

That was a cup semi final between the two "biggest rivals in Europe"... Errrm.
We won and the Belfast game will be better at least. Wish I still had my 18.50 though.
The worst Steelers side and performance I think I've ever seen, but that's their problem.

No DC or Henley in 3rd
I just don't get the steelers. No leaders tonight, thought Meyers or Philips, Hewitt or Fata might have tried to lead the team but they were poor. At 6-3 they seems to have some urgency but just gave up so easily. Doyle had a shocker but even still they were poor. Simms and O'Connor behind the bench were silent, Abel didn't say a lot either.
Maybe Doug is better off out of it all.
Anyway, we won woo hoo! Thought Lacho was amazing tonight, loyns on d was good and we always play better with Benny. Kalus needs to pass more!!

Wasn't there tonight but on the Norton topic he has looked horribly out of his depth at times this season. Ahah ridiculous, he has took coming up to the elite league very well from two personally successful seasons in the much tougher EPL! So as you wasn't there tonight you didn't see him be mature and come on the ice when not been played for 30mins yes be slow but what do you expect? But then got to pace really quick and bagged a goal.

He really hasn't you know. Constant positioning errors & frequently out muscled. I expect he'll improve no end but there's currently a very good reason he gets benched so often.

No doubt he'll make a good player but currently he's a 7th Dman.

He went away put the work in at EPL sides came back and has worked hard all year for the team. His partnership with Henley has been solid and as a player he has done his job. The game is changing and we need to have the Brits icing when available. It's the only way to progress. And saying we're under pressure when he is on the ice is horse I'm affraid if our forwards tracked back our a would have to do so much. Norton is a good d man and plays well almost very shift, other players have put out worse performances all season, and with our injuries he has played pretty much every game and done a good job. That's my view.
