With him having played in our pre-season games I would be surprised if he didn't sign for us. I'd expect to see him playing in Italy next week.

I echo the other comments, I suspect it was part of the deal to allow him to train with us.

While I would be in favour of signing a good quality british player, from what I saw of him earlier this season, and what I remember of him in the past, I don't think Farmer would bringing any more to the team than what Boxill already does. Farmer would have to be on a regular line, with good quality players, to make an impact.

131 points in the last 3 seasons in the EIHL sure as hell we should sign him if we can.

Are you being serious ashfield panther, in his last two eihl season he has averaged around a point a game. If able to do the same for us, (should we infact sign him) then we would be able to play four import 'D', whilst having three forward lines with scoring punch. In effect solving the problem we found ourselves with when Matt Myers left us.

Have we got enough money? Praps an import forward will leave to allow farmer to come in, money on capraro or wren for me

In my eyes the reason Corey hasn't gone for 4 import D was due to the lack of British forwards. Losing Myers and not replacing him with a Brit meant we needed the import up front. If we had Farmer, could we use 4 import D? All ifs and buts at the moment but an extra Brit definitely won't do us any harm.
My only fear is Sheffield. Didn't Hill sign on a short term deal? Him out and Farmer in is a terrible thought in the back of my mind!

Of course we should, and anyone who says no is mad or not a Panthers fan.
With the likes of Henley, Salters, Murray and Lee in the team, it would also mean he doesn't have to drop the gloves, EVER.

That I'm bloody glad of but the guy has the brain the size of 5 pence coin so will probably still try to fight
