All the current crop are meeting GM and Corey this week - whether thats to discuss new deals or not I dont know. Only person who isn't is Rhett, who is going home tonight and going to sell fertilizor in America! Our next coach, he isn't! Haha I asked him about that. He said that was never even discussed with him - and the Braehead job - he laughed and said it wasn't even mentioned to him. On a side note, out of all the guys I spoke to last night, Rhett was by far the best. Nice guy, talked about Ayr and his plans for the future. Genuinly nice guy.

Yeah didn't get chance to talk to Rhett but he seemed a real good guy. Only got chance to say 'good job Corey' in a ridiculous American accent. Hope he didn't take offence!

Copied from Steeltalk rumours thread;
'Galbraith and Krestanovich leaving Clan. Jade to us and Jordan to Belfast.
Josh Prudden to return to EIHL with us interested in him as Finnertys replacement if we don't get David Ling but Belfast also wanting him back.
Adam Miller who played with Legue at Ferris State to be our latest attempt to fill Talbot’s boots and Trevor Hendrikx to be our new Steve Munn type.
Ryan Kinasewich mentioned a couple of times to various teams including us.'
Also the DABs brother rumour.

If Coventry offload Hull, will James Pease return to the Skydome? What a defensive pairing he'd make with Biggins! ;D

Has there been an Italian player in the EIHL before?

Coventry Blaze Rumours Brian Lee to return to Coventry Blaze Chris Wiggins (EPL, B'stoke) to Coventry Blaze With Brian Lee I always said that they were stupid to have got rid of him in the first place, I wouldn't have minded seeing him here. And with Chris Wiggins, his name always seems to be quite popular with one or two of our own fans, I guess if he is more than capable at EIHL level I wouldn't be too suprised if quite a few teams would look at him, especially if they wanted someone who will drop the gloves, plus he is a Brit so got to be a bonus in there somewhere.

Has there been an Italian player in the EIHL before? Only one I can think of at the minute is Vezio Sacratini, but is he? Especially with being Italian-Canadian, he played 3 seasons for Devils and 1 season for Steelers in the EIHL.

According to Szekesfehervar, Derek Ryan has had his contract extended to next season but dont know if contracts are as worthless in the Erste Bank League as they are here

Did Tait and Clarke go and play in Italy, but hit by injuries? Not sure if they could give an accurate reflection of what stats would look like

Joe Tallari. Played for Phoenix a few years ago, scored a load (Tony Hand influence probably : I think he's a dual national that went to play in Italy after leaving Manchester

From Simms' Twitter;
'@simmsey: 3rd hand confirmation that Corey will be back in Nottingham next season but as a coach or as a player coach, that is the question.'
