Sorry not sure where's best to post...Can someone tell me the best way to book tickets for steelers v panthers on the 14th of Feb and also what's the best way to get the shf? Is it easy to drive or am I best getting the train?etc? Thanks[/quote Unless youre around the area, Id say online or over the phone is the best way to book. In terms of getting there, Id say drive. The trains stop fairly early from Sheffield to Nottingham usually about half 9ish and the game is usually untill around then

Its a shame this one is going to be in the week and as such it is probably not going to be the biggest crowd in the world which is a shame. I have a quci question though it ususaly takes me about and hour to get to the Motorpoint arena for a weekend game just wondering how long people think it will take in the week bearing in mind I finish work at 5 at the City Hospital.

I work in the City, live in S-in-A. It takes me 45 mins to an hour to get home(near the M1), and it can take the same to get to the Arena from home, especially midweek when there is always traffic queueing between j28-29 of the M1. (AlthoughIt took me 2 hours once to get from Sutton to Sheffield Arena for a concert!)

I go to Sutton and Kirkby all the time from Chesterfield and never go on the M1. 25mins to Chesterfield and another 30mins to the Motorpoint from there. Most importantly......no traffic queues on the M1. I'd suggest that route once you have got home.

On OS now, this has been arranged to Tues 14th Feb (Valentines day). Bad news for Steelers it not being a weekend, and likely doubly so that it clashes with the VDay? Clashes with Wednesday playing at Hillsborough and United playing at Huddersfield too. Terrible date for the game imo.

Well from rumours I heard, the 50/50 prize isn't exactly what it says on the tin.. I am sure there are some pretty strict rules regarding gambling in this country. Althought i did see a 12 year old buy abouy 10 50/50 tickets the other week, so maybe these rules don't apply in the Elite league?? Well they wouldn't sell a couple of tickets to my 7 year old until I got there.

(AlthoughIt took me 2 hours once to get from Sutton to Sheffield Arena for a concert!) It depends on traffic. I live in Hucknall, on a Saturday I can get to Sheffield in 35 mins. However, I work Beeston way and for a mid-week it can take anything from 1-2 hours, I always go straight from work for mid-week matches.
