Devalues the whole competition, it's supposed to be GB.
A load of foreigners are playing for the national team, but people from the EU need an itc to play in the league. You'll probably have 11 imports playing for GB at this rate. Bonkers!
Stick Jade, Legue & Talbot in, we still won't get in pool A.
I have no interest in GB, I'd rather watch the under 21s

Its the same in all sports (though not as bad as this) take: Football - Most of the Irish Squad from the 80's / 90's Rugby - Shontayne Hape & Hendre Fourie for England, The "kilted Kiwi's" for Scotland Cricket - Kevin Pietersen
Need I go on? Dual Nationals will always be in the sport, and we ain't the only nation to utilize it. However, if the Dual Nationals help us get up the rankings and raise the profile of the sport, increase the funding from the government, making the sport more main stream that can only be a good thing. I see Dual Nationals as a means to an end.
The end being, a Brit born and Bread playing in the NHL. then another, and another until we become a respectable nation for hockey talent.

I thought this ITC nonesense was dreamed up by IIHF, aren't they incharge at international level also? why does it not apply? I don't like duel nationals in any sport tbh, esp if they have represented another country before. Pick one and stick with it. I don't mind if they pack the GB team with foriegners, but its hillarious to bleet on about British born players, this and that, cut the no of imports at league level, then cut the chances for these young brits to represent their country of birth. No wonder they get accused of chasing the money, what other goal is there?

I'd of taken Levers over Hewitt but hey ho.
The addition of Neilson to the D has strengthened it considerably.

No difference in needing them to better ourselves today imo.

I'd quite happily take that situation again and then you'll see the profile of ice hockey in this country being raised!

If the dual nats in the GB team are actually proud to wear the shirt then I have no problem with it. I have a friend who is training towards a possible shot at getting into the GB powerlifting team even though he's originally from Bosnia. He is a British citizen and if he manages to make it into the team at that moment there won't be a prouder Brit in all of the realm, even if he does have a funny accent
