Spearing is much worse than punching someone IMO, let em get on with it.

the spearing call was for a slight jab made between penners legs, it was more of an action to agitate rather than damage like when shepherd smashed dutiaume in the face... thats why i belive only a game was called and not a match penalty rather silly to agitate Mr Penner me thinks - twolips probably thinks the same now

Re Penner and Tulip ; my understanding was that the linos had hold of both players and that Penner broke free and punched Tulip with glove still on ?
IF that was true then surely that can be deemed a suckerpunch in that Tulip wouldn't expect it as he would expect Penner to drop glove(s) first ?
Regardless if it was a suckerpunch or not, most folks seem to be of the opinion that it warranted a penalty?
If a 2min penalty causes injury it is increased to 5+game, so sounds like the right call.

Tulip ? If so, then yes, concussion is regarded as in injury and it prevents him playing in tonights game against Cardiff.

He got a slap on the jaw from a pro fighter, no helmet will protect against that.
