Is this the weekend we break our streak? CC will no doubt be fired up for this one, wanting to prove his doubters around the league wrong.
I think this will be a 4-2 win for us but do think we will have to come from behind, just a gut feeling.

If you play a lot better it might help.

It could be a close call - 3-2 to the Panthers

Not making a prediction but with our not-so-sharp-shooting and not all together reliable nettie we may struggle to get a result this weekend as well. That said I shall still cheer us on via the update sites.

Can't see the streak ending here. New netminder out to impress his new/old team & to beat his old team, forwards who can't find the back of the net, confidence at rock bottom all add up to a 3-1 Basingstoke vitory for me.

CC to stand on his head and the Bison to do us over 4-2. I thought that too Andy, but I'll go for a 2-1 loss for the slumping Panthers

Bison will win the opening face-off, feed the puck back to CC, who will wrist a speculative lob down the ice, bouncing wickedly over Lindsay's shoulder, retreat back to his net after the celebrations and then face 80 shots, turning each one away with consumate ease.
He gets MOM, we get more egg-on-face, the winless run continues and everyone lived happily ever after (well, in the CC household at least)!!

You missed the bit about him going on to score the empty netter at the end

Panthers have a blinding game all three lines clicking well, over 40 sog, only to be let down by bad bounces, poor refereeing decisions, bad ice, delay on the motorway causing late arrival at Basingstoke which in turn leaves the team no time to practice in the warm up, Basingstoke get unfair advantage as Panthers have (14) five on four power plays and (10) five on three power plays, oh and CC stands on his head for a 5-0 win to the Bison.

Panthers to win this one, Clarky and Emersic know CC's weak spots. Say 5-2!
