where i sit is irrelevent as i dont claim i had a birds eye view of the incident i just saw the reaction and the result. As for it being clever it really isnt that clever to hurt people by whatever means you choose afterall noone has accused cloots of being an oxford don I too am bored with the attitude as well, in that of course he is innocent he plays for sheffield it ranks right up there with of course he has a work permit he plays for sheffield and the great of course he is tougher he plays for sheffield.... Finally, something we agree on, get well soon Mac you are sorely missed already...

So you're saying the hit on Hecl was nasty then Tex? going on the reaction of other players obviously.
Edit. I have edited the original text that said 'You agree the hit.....' as it implies I thought it was nasty.
I don't, didn't see owt wrong with it.

I too am bored with the attitude as well, in that of course he is innocent he plays for sheffield So how is that different from the view that he plays for Sheffield so he must be guilty? I sit in Block 13 and had no view of the incident so can't comment on it one way or the other. We all have a tendency to see what we want/expect to see in an incident. That said, I've heard both Panthers and Steelers fans who's views I respect, say that the hit seemed ok and the injury was an unfortunate accident. I'm prepared to accept that and move on. Let's hope Sean is back sooner than later.

So you agree the hit on Hecl was nasty then Tex? going on the reaction of other players obviously. Or the hit Simoes put on the guy from behind that Led to Campbell jumping him for that matter.... Neilson IS known as not taking crap, he went piling in sunday at the final hooter for Blaz because he wants to stick up for his team mates, doesnt mean it was an illegal hit or there was intent to injure

Nem,
wasnt there so didnt see it so cant comment one way or the other, am prepared to accept whatever peoples opinions were but being a panthers fan and it involving panthers will give him the benefit of the doubt just as steelers fans are suggesting gusto is innocent, and as far as that incident is concerned (and lets be honest here noone is going to change ones opinions now so lets drop it all) all i was doing was putting across another viewpoint of the event..... end of

That's about as conclusive as it gets. Don't bank on it! ;D Some folk are prepared to argue black is white - or if it isn't, then it should have been!
