For those that don't know we're the womens' team in Nottingham.
We have a home game tomorrow, with a 5.30pm face off against Guildford on the Olympic Rink. It would be really good to see some of you down there to cheer us on just before the Panthers game.
Last season we were unbeaten in all our league games, but unfortunately lost the final of the Playoffs. We were top of Division One for the majority of the season and finished top of the table, Division One Champions. Due to our posistion in the League, we were put through to the Playoffs, which were held in Sheffield. Despite our efforts, we came second to Swindon, which was brilliant for us. Then it was time to play for promotion. We had an 11-0 win over Swindon promoting us to the Premier League which we are now in.
Our results this season haven't been what we've hoped for. With new players starting, other players leaving, we're finding it harder in the Premier League. Results haven't represented how we've played. Every game the team has gone out onto the ice, wanting to have fun and enjoy the game. The team spirit couldn't be better and everyone's there for each other.
Saturday being our next home game, and with Panthers on the other rink, we'd love for some of you to be able to come down. It's free to watch, but donations are welcome.
Thanks,
Becky

I'm away during the day but if I'm back in time I'll be there before the Panthers game.
Good luck either way! ;D
