Spotted that an ex-NHL ref is interested in visiting European countries to do some ref training/seminars. Canadian looking at Europe for gamesAlso, is it just me, or has the ZT gone out the window in the last few games we have seen at home? This is by no way an explanation as to our loss of form, but has effected both home and away teams IMO.

Also, is it just me, or has the ZT gone out the window in the last few games we have seen at home? No - but the implementation is incomplete and variable. I wasn't keen on Moray Hanson's interpretation of ZT whereas I thought Dave Cloutman called it quite well. Even so, it wasn't nearly as strict as the implementation in the NHL. The referees will have to keep working at ZT though - if they back off at all, the players will so be back to the old interference tricks and what progress has been made towards ZT will quickly be lost.

Haven't seen Cloutman, however I think Hanson is calling the game as it should be. Complete ZT is not the way to go here IMO. Hanson calls the obvious hooking, interference, etc. however keeps a high level of the physical game.
