Is it just me or is there a really annoying crackly sound problem on all those videos?

No, you're right. And it's getting very irritating. It's like as Gary Moran speaks, he is making popcorn in his mouth

My guess is that he is using an auxiliary mike thats voice activated for his questions, the mike never appears to move from his subject to him, and the sound of the interviewees voice is causing it to cut in and out, and thats the popping. Could be wrong of course but I've that myself.

I hope I dont sound too negative as the video clips are a great addition to the site, but I do think the interviews with the coach are getting a bit predictable and bland to be honest.
Maybe a bit more action in from training, or insight into how things are behind the scenes eg team talks (edited for tactical confidentiality), preparation eg kit, travel etc would be more interesting.

Interesting to hear the Carl Froch interview, sounds like he's turning into a hockey fan! Quite lucid for a boxer as well.
Not sure about the efforts to use him to attract boxing fans to Panthers matches though. Comparing boxing to hockey could attract the "wrong" kind of people (I hear there is usually an unsavoury element at his fights) who come just expecting to see a big punch up. And as has been said many times before, a fight or two is great, part of the game, but not the be all and end all or what we should be selling it on in my opinion.

Ian. I can not see many of his (problem) supporters looking at the Panthers web site but can see were you are coming from.

Ian. I can not see many of his (problem) supporters looking at the Panthers web site but can see were you are coming from. I don't mean that they would see this interview. In the interview, they talk about getting his fans into the hockey like he is so I'm guessing some kind of efforts might be on the cards to do that - him endorsing hockey / the Panthers to his fans somehow, promotions for ticket holders from his fights to get money off a Panthers ticket, something like that perhaps? That's what I meant.
