Here is Cloots V Hecl. It's worth noting that Hecl only stepped in to bail his netminder out. Wolfie dished out an almighty slash on Cloots who was understandably upset, Hecl stepped up to the plate and took the heat for wolfie. As you will see he dosn't get much change! Fair play to the lad for going in, he must have had an idea what would follow - and it did! The lads got balls I say that. EnjoyAnd before anyone jumps on it even though it looks it on the vid, it was not unprovoked on Hecl, he signaled his intent by cross checking Cloots to the head.

Cloth ears and Gomez danced last night but it appears that it's not on the net Yes they did and Gomez didn't do too well. Earlier in the 3rd Clouthier crashed the net and Wolfe gave him abit of a chop. Hecl came in to protect his netminder and was jumped by Clouthier and took a very 1 sided beating Clouthier had asked Gomez to go a few times in the game but just like in Nottingham Gomez didn't want to know. I said at the time Gomez has to go after Clouthier for jumping a non fighter and credit to Gomez as soon as Clouthier had finished serving his penalty Gomez challenged him from the bench and Clouthier nodded. The next shift Cloutier had Gomez had 1 leg over the boards and was screaming for a change. As soon as he got the change he dropped the gloves and took off the lid and Clouthier did the same. Good square off and when they came together Gomez got rocked by the 1st punch and went down to one knee but got back up and tried to hold on but Clouthier landed 3 or 4 more punches. Win Clouthier but credit to Gomez for going straight after him after jumping a non fighter.

Win Clouthier but credit to Gomez for going straight after him after jumping a non fighter. It's all very well mentioning about jumping a non fighter but at the end of the day if I went round cross checking someone to the head I'd expect to get a slap for it whether I was a fighter or not. We all know that in this sport you reap what you sow and thats exactly what happened to Hecl. I did feel sorry for him because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and his keeper hung him out to dry with the initial slash but thats the game.

Hecl got the gloves up high and gave Clouthier a shove and then Clouthier started throwing. If it was a crosscheck to the head then Clouthier would of not still been standing and unmarked.

lol your talking to a steelers fan tho Zukiwskifan, it was the worst slash/cross check to the head in history...if you watch it again thro those tinted specs! Oh and whats with the "one black and one white" skate chassis combo Clouthier has gone for?! It looks terrible!

I think he broke a blade or something as he was not on the bench for the last 10 mins of the 1st and missed the 1st 5 mins of the 2nd and was walking around the corridoor with no skates on and then he came bck out with the black and white combo.
