Is there any site (that works) that tells us of how our boys and girls are doing in the Junior ranks. I've noticed that most teams have a point of reference, forum or site that tells you of all the details. Nottingham only seems to have the Lions, does anyone know why? Seeing as though they are the future of Ice Hockey in the country and our club.
Also for everyones information aswell and I apologise for those that already know, the Pumas U10s played away to Telford yesterdau and won 3 - 2 whcih is excellent as about 10 of them were first time players.
Also there is a game today at the Olympic Ice rink 5:30 face-off against Sheffield, everyone knows the rivalry runs right from the Seniors down to the Juniors so how about some support for our boys and girls.
Any thoughts anyone??

Currently there is no website for the NIHC as there is noone to run it. If there is anyone who would like to be the webmaster for the NIHC and has the time and necessary skills to put a website together feel free to contact me and I will raise the issue at the next focus group meeting. There was a website a couple of years ago, but the webmaster had a disagreement with the club and it was taken down. League results for the Juniors can usually be found on Malcolm Preen's site. However he does rely on the results being forwarded to him and if they are not they will not appear on the site. Congratualtions to the Pumas and good luck for today's game.

Building websites is not so difficult these days but keeping them up to date is harder than many people realise.
The people who volunteer to run junior teams already have a big job on their hands - not many of them are likely to have the time to build and maintain websites into the bargain.
If anyone wants to use the Cage as a vehicle for posting results/information about the junior teams then I'm sure we can sort something out.

167 viewings and hardly any of you can be bothered to comment, how terribly decent of you. I know lets talk about the climate at murrayfield.

P4 Blimey - someone got out of the wrong side of the coffin today! Personally I was waiting until I'd found out the U16s score from the weekend, then I was going to post the full set of juniors scores as I've done in previous years - but if that's not good enough for you....

I think that is a tad unfair. Many people may of viewed this but don't feel they have an opinion to stress. Plus the fact that the view count is actual views, not member views.
A lot of people view the forum at night time at home too.
Pleased for the juniors to beat Sheffield.

Once this morning, then once every time it was added to. I didn't post a reply as I didn't have anything that I thought would be of value. I'm guessing many people will be in the same position. I sometimes wish more people would consider the value of their comments before posting them. P.S. I'm also pleased to hear that Nottingham's juniors are doing well, though if you're after my opinion on a website for such information, then to be honest I probably wouldn't use it as I'm not that interested in junior hockey.

The Nottingham Lynx (16B) had a close game, but unfortunately lost 7-5 at home to Solihull.

I apolgise guys I think I did get out of the wrong side of my coffin! I understand your views but felt even if no-one knew about the Junior Hockey than at least well done would have sufficed.
Slap on wrist taken and apology given but the Pumas are little crackers and I just couldn't help shouting there praise.

P4 No argument about the U10s (and U12s) being "little crackers" - it's great to watch them skedaddling across the ice, giving it their all.... and a lot of other people have thought so, given the reactions to them being on show at the Play Off Finals weekends... It's just a pity that there are no junior home games on before Panthers home games until October - because I'm sure the juniors would love it if a load of Panthers fans could get in early and cheer them on. Well, there's an U19s Leopards game on half an hour before the Manchester game on the 16th.... but the first one we're likely to see in its entirety isn't until Saturday 7th October (U19s2 Jaguars). I'm sure that some of us can make sure that people on here know about such junior games beforehand... give the juniors some of the attention that they richly deserve (and it's entertaining, too!)
