I think this sums Martigny up rather nicely... ...a bunch of pansies. Yes indeed! They have a very long way to go to live up to the nickname of the 'Red Lions' - more like Lenny the Lion (for those of you old enough to remember him)! Interesting that their website carries no report of last night's game, so we obviously can't glean their version of events yet. Also noticed from their website that their Russian Coach has an interesting name too - Dmitri FOKIN - you couldn't make that one up!! ;D

Wouldn't we have too many imports if Calle or Ellis played? Can someone please clarify... If Mike Ellis plays for Team GB is he classed as an Import or is he a Brit? IIRC, Mike Ellis counts as a 'dual-national' for Team GB... he is allowed to play for GB because he has a British passport, has played here for 2+ seasons, etc etc. However, the EIHL run on different rules, and he is classed as an import (I think he requires an ITC card) for the Panthers.

Assuming that report is accurate (and I've no reason to believe otherwise).... is there any Swiss team that ISN'T out to screw us at any opportunity? A tad melodramatic don't you think Dave?

A tad melodramatic don't you think Dave? A tad tongue in cheek, don't you think?.... It didn't read that way Dave, it came across in a similar vein to one of your usual tirades (often directed at Sheffield or David Simms.) ;D

Hardly ever, in fact.... and that's been the case for a while now. Do pay attention, 007.....
