Just to add a thread for discussion here. After seeing some of the Gevena roster, i hope they go easy on us Kirby LawJamie WrightMichael Grosek!Serge AubinAnd i think this side just beat Mozine 8-2 . We ll be fit after tonight This will be another learning curve for us, and we should be able to skate harder a little bit more than last night, but after that Mountain bike ride......

Be gentle indeed, just looking at their roster they have 14 forwards and 8 D, we'll be knackered come the end of the 1st and they'll just roll 4 lines at us untill we drop.
Anyway will be good for fitness if nothing else.

Is the game going to be shown on the internet? I`ve had a look on here: www.geneva-hockey.ch/and I can`t see any sign of any live coverage details. Only this breif write up: See the game at Vernets This evening Eagles fans and supporters will head to Vernets for the first home game of the season. The Genève-Servette Hockey Club will be facing-off against the Nottingham Panthers in this season 2006-2007 opener.
With only 15 days until the official start of the season, Chris McSorley and Hans Kossmann’s team will be energized following their commendable performance in Sweden. Winning the Coronnarossa Cup confirms the depth of the Eagles’ bench and they now eagerly await the opportunity to play at Vernets with their fans in attendance.
In essence, this match will be a rehearsal for the zealous season opener slated for September 15th: when GSHC hosts the SC Berne.
All Eagles supporters can come to Vernets Thursday night to discover the energetic and dynamic team that will represent the city next season. Face-off is at 20h00. We would like to remind you that only the main stands will be open to the public and there is no pre-assigned seating. Tickets can only be purchased at the gates on game-day at the price of CHF 10.- for adults and CHF 5.- for children. As always, the gates open an hour and a half before game-time (18h30).
Season ticket holders will be given free passes for this game. To benefit from this offer, all interested season ticket holders should present themselves at Cash 1 after 18h15. They will receive their free pass to access the stands (upon presentation of an identity card). Due to the technical improvements to the ticketing services which have been effectuated in recent months, the membership cards will be sent out in early September.

Not a bad price for a pre-season Friendly - just over £4.25 for adults!

Holy Moley batman, those guys are gunna crush us, even if they play at half capacity they should still beat us just on the extra lines. Great training though, not like playing an epl team then another eihl team lol, some tough games there, all good all good.

I`d sooner Mike finds out any weakness the team has playing these sort of games..
than in the league with games that really matter for points.
