Yeah i agree there adam. Technically he can't be sacked if he was there tonight (which he was Obviously, he can't be anyway because his contract runs out at the end of the year, and even if he was sacked why would it be now, no offence but i think you might of got the wrong end of this one.

Presumably his contract ends after the playoffs anyway, as will Mike's, so unless he's something really important to do next weekend... (After tonight's game he may well be free anyway... )

I never said it was fact, hense the RUMOUR thread! Did you go to the game? Did you see him on the bench? Think about it - if he'd been sacked before the game, why would he have been on the bench? You needn't have wasted time posting a daft rumour!

It happened with Martin Jol, did it not? Indeed it did Yeah it did happen to jol however i think it would be just plain daft to "sack" ellis before the playoffs. It makes no sense and if i were ellis i would think 'sod you' and leave if i were sacked like that.

It happened with Adey, he knew he was off before the Play Offs I wasn't aware of this i've not been a fan for long. I just think it'd be proper daft to do it that way.

It happened with Adey, he knew he was off before the Play Offs Was that the season we got to the final and lost? Didnt know he'd already been sacked prior to that. As for Ellis, i dont really think there is much to go on here. However stranger things have happened.

You did Alf?? Coooool. This just gets better & better. I heard from a very reliable source, that we already have Crosby, Ovechkin, Heatley, Zetterberg...already inked for next season. My source? This bloke that once washed the windows of this kid that goes to a school, that was once passed in a van by a bloke that was once in Zimbabwe the same time as a hairdresser from Leicester, who once booked tickets to the NIC to see Westlife!

Sacking Mr. ellis would be a mistake on par with hitler invading russia in the winter!!!!!! Hitler invaded Russia in the summer - just forgot that winter follows summer. Come to think of it, Panthers planning department is prone to similar lapses in forethought.......
