A VERY good idea. This may give some more variation in teams and will give our youngsters a bigger and better chance in youth development schemes at different teams respectively.

The Panthers don't do league titles. Not even Carlsberg can manage that!

It's a stupid idea that is never going to happen. Does Fabregas count as home-grown? If so then Arsenal will be laughing as they have the best scounting system. Their side is full of young players who have come thru. If it has to be English then there's even less chance of this change happening. Man Utd never managed 6 English players. Does Rooney count as one for Man U? He's been there since he was 18. And Carrick? Rio?? Only cost £77m!!

In theory its a nice idea but i agree with Sunbeam - Its never going to happen!
It would definately help young talent come through in the countries with big leagues such as England, Spain, Germany and Italy but it would completely block out good players from places like Africa and South America.
It worked in ice hockey here because people recognised that it needed to happen or there would be no British ice hockey. I doubt fans of clubs like Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool etc. would be quite as understanding!

Derby spend a £million on this player. If Fifa had their way the Mancers would be forced to keep him and play him. A reward for mediocrity.
