What with it clear that Luke Donald wasn't going to stop the Tiger, I decided to switch to watching Barca in their charity shield game.
Some of the stuff they play is a different class to anyone. Brazil at their best would struggle to match them. And now they've strengthened their defence you've gotta fancy them to dominate again.
Having said that Real have bought well this summer and they are signing the best anchor midfielder in the world for £17m today.
La Liga kicks off this weekend and ends in mid-June!
The game in Barca kicked off at 10pm local time. I wish our games kicked off a tad later than they do.

Both Milan clubs have put offers in for Ronaldo according too reports today, and as an Inter fan, I don't want him back.

Compared to La Liga the Premiership doesnt yes EPL has enough though. La Liga is the most star-studded league. Especially after the transfers this summer. Pires has ripped his cruciate and is out until Easter. Damn shame.

the Premiership (i refuse to call it the EPL) does have its fair share of ponces but it also has infinitely more tough men. There's no bias involved when i say i'd rather watch the Prem over La Liga any day. Flair doesn't always mean entertainment.

La Liga shows some really beautiful skillfull moments, but for me it's the Premier League all the way. I just can't get into the La Liga games. I do think that the refs do a good job there though.

It really comes down to caring about the result. I struggle to watch any match live if I don't care about the result.
We're more interested in the EPL so we find them more interesting. I do think La Liga is the best league in the world though (sorry Richard Keyes).

Speaking of La Liga... Did anyone see Real Madrid v Villareal last night?
A very slow, average looking, Ruud Van Nistelrooy played. If you believe what the papers say, Real are trying to offload Ronaldo due to his lack of pace, form, and general ability to fit into this team.
If his season is to be judged on last nights performance, Come January, Ruud could be in Newcastle.

They are fantastic, the closest we get is Jonathon Pearce and sometimes Andy Gray lol, shocked that Sevilla won the Euro Super Cup 3-0!
