So what's the opinion on who's gonna do what?
Man U need a new striker (I still think they'll get Torres), as do Liverpool (probably will be Kuyt) and Arsenal will need to replace Reyes and Cole. They should try to swap Reyes for Baptista. Roberto Carlos, Curtis Davis and a new keeper would be advisable too.
I predict:
Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal/Man U (too close to call) Spurs in 5th.
Watford, Sheff U and Reading to all return to the Coke.

I dont think portsmouth will go down this season. Redkanapp has got too much money to spend on players and he cant waste all that money.

Makes me laugh that people are questioning Chelsea on the basis of yesterday. Liverpool are 11 days ahead of Chelsea for fitness and it showed. Liverpool need a striker and Chelsea really need Gallas. That'd be a better signing than Cashley Cole.

Top 4: 1. Chelsea 2. Man U 3. Liverpool 4. Arsenal/Tottenham Bottom 3: Sheffield United (Just not good enough ) Reading (ok first 11 but nothing else past that) Watford (Only have 2 decent players) I had Portsmouth and Villa down as favourites for relegation but with portsmouth really improving their squad and villa getting O'neil and a whole lot of money to spend in the Jan transfer window i think they'll be ok. I could see Bolton, Man City or Middlesborough having a horror season but barring that it looks to me like the 3 promoted teams will be back in the championship next season.

Rooney and Owen to return from their bans for Mega Sunday on 17th September. I bet they'll be a few Panthers fans hoping there's no home game on that day! tv guide

Liverpool fans better get used to the squad rotation. I wouldn't be surprised if Rafa changes his team every game.
The 'Big Sam to Sunderland' rumour is back. As is ther Torres to Man U rumour (which will happen).

As is ther Torres to Man U rumour (which will happen). I'd be very surprised if Big Sam left Bolton for Sunderland. Certainly the Black Cats need something, and bloomin quick-smart too, but I just can't see it being Allardyce.

Why would Sam leave Bolton for the quickly-sinking ship that is Sunderland?

Reading showed last season that they're a team with no major star but the ability to come back when all is lost. I watched the Reading v Middlesbro game and it was unbelievable (Go-On do your Kamara impressions!). Middlesbro were awesom for 25 mins, it was like watching Brazil, then they just collapsed. Reading got a lucky break on the first, a quick second then dominated the game.
As for the questionnable signing, Seol, from Wolves, he was awesome. I think they'll be down there come april, but they'll fight it off in the last two games.

Your prediction looks a bit more likely now, Martin.
I'm waiting for the window to close, ManUre sign no new striker and then Saha and Ole get the annual injury!
