The poster suggests he'll be playing against Bison next week. Belfast perhaps?

woah thats a massive hit for the bison. im a bit disappointed to be honest. he really brought something to the game on sunday, and bison games are always pretty damn good fun!
i'd love to see him in a panthers shirt. at the sunday game, my mate and I said it'd be great for stevie to be our nettie after rasto retires.

What is with the Basingstoke Bison, they get through netminders like one-o.
2005/2006 Steve Briere Jayme Platt Sir Mark Benard
2006/2007 Nick Boucher Curtis Cruickshank
It would a massive blow if Lyle leaves, but who'd want to play for Belfast this season from what I've read only Scott Cameron has come out with any credit.

Rumours seem to have died down on the forums, we'll see. We can't afford to lose a team, especially given the extra coverage the sport is getting at the moment.

If I remember rightly, there was a story posted on here that Ed Courtenay had put his whole roster on 2 weeks notice. Much as I'm certain he won't cut the entire roster, I firmly believe he'll shake up the squad with 3-5 changes.
Stevie Lyle to Belfast is good call I think. Apart from the Giants the only place I see him going in the EIHL is Sheffield, but as far as I'm aware, Dave Matsos is firmly behind Jody Lehman.
Lyle to Panthers? No. We already have a strong netminder. I can't see us making a change between the pipes unless there is either a long term injury to either n/m or a serious loss of form on Rasto's part. At the moment, neither situation is applicable.

how can Coutenay make 5 changes? unless of course he replaces imports with brits (which would make sense, import goalies for lyle)

Awada was simply awful against us, and as for Dutes if people say that Sheps could be a disruptive influence in the camp, then this character is a zen master at it! HL

Not this season because belfast wouldn't be in the position they are at the moment lol. ;D Especially not this season... according to the EIHL website, Awada's stats currently stand at:- GP = 11 G = 1 A = 3 Which for Awada is terrible.

Lyle to replace Derouville...Tessier to fill that import slot! Sounds like a nice replacement to me! Wouldn't they then have 8 import forwards?! Awada, Dutes, Courtenay, Cameron, Smith, Sutter, Lewis AND possibly Tess...I think their goalscoring form might just pick up. But having Jamieson and Walton on D full time would scare me, alongside Johnson and Neumier. Although Dutiaume played D against Cardiff last week, so maybe that's the future? And what happened to Gavalier?! Maybe when he is back Courtenay may hang up the skates, or Smith may be booted?! Ack thinking of it is confusing me!

Tessier and Lyle in for Derouville?! Wage cap anyone....!
It will be a shame if the Bison are in big trouble, we need teams like them playing well and keeping the league tight.
TBH I dont think we could pick anyone up from Bstoke really. Id love to see Brad Cruikshank as a third line grinder for us or someone like Melanson on D but I dont see who you could cut. And as for Belfast, again theyve got too many part time superstars so we definatly dont need to pick anyone up from there!
