Don't exactly know what wanted it more means, but read this on one of the posts about Fife Panthers game last night. Does it mean that Fife were trying harder than us, that can't be true as we are going all out to win the league, league winners try their best every night thats what makes them WINNERS. I'm a bit worried now that someone can make that observation. Mind you if we did travel up their by coach how unprofessional is that.

This is down to cost at the end of the day.

Do you :

A : Hire the coach (with a company you already have a deal with) to take you there and back, including taking you to and from the hotel you are staying at to the relevant ice stadiums..................

or

B : Get a coach to take you to the airport, then a plane trip, you will have had to have been in contact with a local company to arrange coach hire (with which you don't have a deal with) to transport you to and from airports to stadiums and hotels and then a plane trip back and have waiting for you a coach to take you back to the N.I.C.

It's not "unprofessional" it's simple economics!

any team can go out and give 100% but lose. In crunch games like this you need to have the hunger for the puck and the desire to give more than everything in you for the win. On Saturday night, we simply didn't have that. Fife were sharper, quicker and more daring than us and got the victory.

You make a good point though, champions do not turn in performances like that

Of course we wanted it, look at the shots we had, we had more than them I think! Just silly mistakes lost it for us! The defence was having a bad day!! O well, only one game, at least we won on sunday!! Here's for winning all of the rest of the games!! ;D ;D Yaaaay!! ;D ;D

On saturday we were just absolutely poo and Fife were at there best and they deserved it fair play! was worst i've seen this season, Curtis had a bad weekend i thought but yet again he's due one having played awesome all season so im not complaining to much, But i thought the Defence was awlful all weekend no protection to Curtis what so ever i lost count the number of 2 on 1's they had

But not to bothered was only one game!! not worried!!

TRUE...
Out shot them something like 33-13 in the last two.
Individual mistakes cost us in that 10mins spell in the middle of the first and then their keeper stood on his head. So I don't think we can say that we didn't want it.
We just found it tough on a small rink with no plexi against a speedy team that swarm.
