We have a 55[/u] shot game and win it in overtime. Scottie Upshall scores an incredible solo goal with about 8 seconds left! Love the 'celebration' of Tim Thomas at the end. Can't believe he stopped over 50 shots and still lost.

Rick DiPietro has just produced the most incredible netminding performance i've ever seen. Incredible, yet still lost.

Canucks within an excellent win (5-1) against the Lightning at ours. Cowan who was picked up from LA to add steel is in the form of his life before he came to us no goal in 52, now 5 in 3. On a line with the speedy Morrison and Cooke he has been a star for 3 games (2 of them 1st). leaves our last ten games 8-1-1. ;D And just to please Newham I’ve gotta mention the Flyers beating New Jersey in OT, but im sure he’ll elaborate on this more.

Since we've traded Forsberg, we've been a lot better side ironically. Young, hungry and talented. It's going to be a bright future

NJ overcome their mini-slump and knock off the Pens in the shootout.
Very, very important extra point for us there, worried the Pens will catch us.
Skated with 16 players at one point (bit like an EIHL game eh?) due to various injuries/roster issues, so am very very happy.
And Marty gets another 40 win season. Legend.

Once again the SENS humble the Leafs, with a comfy 5 - 1 win @ Scotiabank Place. Goals for Fisher (2), McAmmond(2), & Preissing. Steen, gets the Leafs consolation goal. Sens scored 3 PPG, & 1 SHG. Seems like the Leafs special teams are away someplace. Same again @ Air Cananda Centre on Saturday? Here's hoping.

Another win for the Canucks against the out of form Coyotes and former Panther Boynton. Keeps our last ten record looking good and now a four game win streak. Cowan gets another (lucky- after an air shot) to make it 6 goals in 4 and Sabourin 2nd win as Luongo rested for a tough game at San Jose tonight. Now top of division by 4pts.

WOOOOO!!! Canucks extend win streak to 5 after a 2-1 OT win against the sharks at there’s. Luongo breaks franchise record of wins with 39 previously held by Kirk McLean. Smolinski gelling well after his trade and improving our already excellent d. Always gona be a tough game for us last night and with Nabokov in great form this is an excellent result. Next few games going to be real tough - @ Anaheim, in form Wild @ ours and after St Louis we got the Red Wings. 8-1-1 record may get some battering!
Wouldn’t say any real surprises in the other results maybe LA pushing Detroit into OT.

Ottawa's troubles in the 3rd continue, which is something Murrey will have to get sorted out before the play offs. Great come back by the Leafs, who I thought were dead & buried at 3-1. I think Emery is still looking for Devereaux's shot from last night ;D

Y'know, Atlanta may well go deep in the play-offs. They've got Tkachtchukaluk in there and with Zhitnik at the back they're a force to be reckoned with. They're lucky that they won't be facing the Flyers though. 4-0 sweep of the series Scottie was withdrawn in the first with an 'upper body injury', hope it's not serious.

Can we play you every week? ;D Well we have at least managed to scrape to the half century one way or another, and we seem to have a nucleus of younger players. Just need a couple of decent centres and an out-and-out #1 and we should be competitive again. The future is bright. The future is black and orange.

not gonna say to much but 4-1 gainst Detroit! ;D Our power play sucks worse than the panthers 0-9 in this game that’s about 2 from 40! 42nd win closing in a franchise record of 46 and luongo getting back to from after a few dodgy games and we actually held a 2 goal lead Other games Carolina spanking NJ 7-2! And Islanders - Florida 13 goal game!

Ah shaddap You deserved the win, we just weren't very good. I don't think we're anywhere near the worst side in the NHL any more, but we're still no way near good enough for the play-offs. We're playing without all of our stars (Gagne, Forsberg, Upshall, Knuble (half-fit)) and we have to rely on kids for any offensive play. No wonder we're losing...

Leafs got the points and that's predominantly what I wanted although it's great that Belak got his 15 minutes. Seems Andy Warhol was right after all. Belak V Janssen nothing more than hand bags

Luongo would be a more deserved Hart trophy winner than Crosby, simply because he's turned a no-hoper team into seemingly divisional winners. Always nice to vote againt the norm, although I think Crosby will win it.

Speaking of the Hart. . .
For me, its got to be 1 - Brodeur, 2 - Luongo, 3 - Crosby.
Why? Well Crosby had a shed load of points last year as well amd the Pens were terrible. Why so good this year? Malkin and Staal, for a start, not just Sid the Kid.
Luongo has been great, but Vancouver would do ok without him - they missed out last year yes, but that was with an injury to their number 1 anyway.
The Devils would be where the Rangers are without Marty. Last night the Devils finally break the losing streak and who has a great game? Marty does.
