Just an idea off the top of my head.
Edinburgh leave B.N.L and combine forces with the proposed Glasgow franchise of last summer and form a version of the Scottish eagles. Maybe even splitting their games between Glasgow and Edinburgh (it's only 40 miles on motorway)
Or perhapse i just need some sleep.

I think the residents of the Central Lowlands would think "putting you to sleep" might be more appropriate after such a suggestion! ;D

1.the two citys are too far apart 2.hockey will never be big in Glasgow 3.Basketball is now played out of the braehead arena as the main sport there

No thanks, happy to join the EIHL (more trips to Nottingham & Belfast if we do ) but not if it means our home games being split between Edinburgh and Glasgow.
