I'm sure it's been said but 'boy am I glad we've got Mike Ellis now'.
It's sad that a man who was loved and respected in both Nottingham and Sheffield should stoop so low.
HOWEVER------
Stand up and tell me what we won last year? Honestly what did we achieve. Mike Blaisdell told BBC Nottingham in a Radio Interview that he'd come back to finish the job. We played nice hockey at times but we were still missing a powerplay unit and we got pushed around something rotten.
Some will cry that Blaisdell's recommending his signings to Sheffield but what did they achieve with us?? If anything we should be happy.
We have a new coach with a proven record in the league below. He's hungry, he wants to win, he can still play, and he's got something to prove. He's built us a team and he brought in both quality and toughness.
Balls to whats happening up the M1, lets concentrate on getting behind our new boys and our new Coach.

I expect it is a huge cross to bear at the Steelers. Being so popular that everyone seems to want to help in a positive way. It certainly makes a change from being pooped on as last year by MWB. Not everyone would welcome him back in the tin shed believe me.

Has Blaisdell got a job this coming season, he seems to have a lot of time on his hands?
