I read the article the Blaisdell had name his dog after Sheffield ::)and he has been recommending players (Sutter and Cote) to the Sheffield organisation. I also understand that said man has been less than complimentary about the Panthers to anyone who would listen.
Its almost as though Sheffiled can't live without him even though the former walked on the latter and took another £10K off them as a 'recruitment advisor' or whatever he was meant to be, and was last season very critical oin the press of Sheffield
It reminds me of the days when Cloughie could do no wrong at Forest, but for those who remember, his final years at Forest were a disaster, and he set the course for what eventually lead us into Division 3.
I hope for the sake of many of the fans up in Shuff, and indeed Mastos, the club clean break from Blaisdall, because he is only interested in one thing and thats himself, and despite the arrongance that eminates from some quarters of the Steelers, the majority of the fans are just like us - they care passionatly about there club.
Regards
HL

Mike Blaisdell will look after Mike Blaisdell at the end of the day, be that right or wrong.

Actually I find it quite funny. He obviously thought that he was coming back here with the “I know where I went wrong and I've already got a hard man set up” interview and at some point NB must have thought of bringing back with the “Everyone will know who the coach is in the next 7 days” comment. However, something happened (I guess we’ll never really know for sure what) and we got ME and MWB has gone on to play the I love Sheffield anyway card and hopefully they’ll forget what I did to them. As for recommending our old players to them, so what? We play each other 6-8 times a season and players talk, it’s not like Sheffield’s a secret place. End of the day Money talks, Not MWB

He coached the two worst Panthers teams I have ever seen, that was when he could'nt spend way over the limit, no loss too us.

He d be no use in this league now anyway, too much old school, like whats been said before, he can t splash out on expensive imports to carry his teams like in the past.

Ah, who cares any more..... he's gone, he's history.... let's just leave him on the shelf with the rest of the history books - only to be taken down & read when needed.....

Totally agree with you Shaggy. Thanks for few trophys Blaisdell but comon, lets just leave him to do his own thing. If he wants to slate us let him. If wants to tell everyone he named his dog Sheffield let him.

Blaisdell reminds me of a petulant little child who has had his arse smacked and been sent to the corner. i agree with you there, its crazy what people do when they have been scorned, i was gutted when MWB didnt sign again but looking at all this im glad.

A pathetic attempt at revenge by what amounts to a petulant child. I once held Blaisdell in high regard but his behaviour in recent years, including his pathetic excuse at coaching last season means I feel nothing but contempt for him. Sheffield are welcome to his sevices, they deserve each other.

It's because of threads like these that stories like that and the one today with Sutter are put on the website. If there was no responce they wouldn't be put up.

I remember Nutty saying how unhappy she was at Blaisdell's reappointment at Panthers and how she didn't trust his motives. How prophetic those remarks were.

Got to agree with you guys...I'm finding it pretty sad.
I quite like the fact we can call on MWB for a bit of help, as I don't think anyone can doubt his recruitment skills, but no need to copy and paste the same thing over again!
