If anyone plays i would really appreciate an e mail (pimp_4444@dizzeerascal.net) telling me how much it costs how to get involved and what kit i need to buy and when. Many thanks Tayne

Tayne,
Have a look on the Locker room board. You might find the information you are looking for there.
I'll move this thread to the Locker room which seems a more appropriate place.

I play ice hockey, and if you want to get into it seriously and get into a team, you will need to do all your skating and hockey grades first. Go along to the skate reception next to the shop at the NIC and book yourself some courses (usually around £30 for six weeks) At first you will need a stick, gloves and helmet, then as you move up the grades you will need more of the kit. When the coach thinks your ready, he will put you into training with a team, and you will go from there.
Hockey kit prices depends on what you want really. You can get some cheap peices to start with, then get more expensive bits a bit later as you get more into it. Your best off looking on the internet and getting it shipped over from America, as you can get really good kit for cheap prices.
If you want to know more about the best places on the internet to get cheap kit from, PM me and i'll give you some sites.
I hope this helps.

Sorry we cannot help you at the ice tigers as you have to be 18 but as Brett says your best bet is to go to the arena and ask about joining a junior team Rich

for your skating you will just need skates but as soon as you do your hockey grades you will have to at first have helmet, gloves and stick but eventually full-kit is necessary.
