simple question really but slightly more difficult answer for me its got to be david clarke with curtis a close second, having just read clarkes stats... Games Played Goals Assists Points PP SH PIM 19 14 7 21 4 0 2 ... who can argue with a goal a game? the mans work rate is outstanding to, he gives 100% every shift and works his backside off all game, for me its got to be him. what does everyone else think???

I'd have to say Curtis, closly followed by Ricci and Ivan. Ricci was absolutely amazing at the start of the season, has dropped off a tiny little bit but still is pure class! Ivan gets better and better and curtis is fantastic! Mckenna and Clarkey come in next. Mckenna purely because of the impact he is having on the ice and in the locker room. Clarkey is a great guy and you can always guarantee a SoG when he is infront of the net rather than passing. Edited to include Calle Carlsson! I forgot about him. Hes having a great season, very solid and obviously being given the C has encoraged him to play well. He deserves that rest the players are getting this weekend.....They're in Majorca!!!

I have to say Clarkey, he works his ass off every shift...and you can see if from the performances...he gets a goal in nearly every game!! ;D Go Clarkey Go!
Also, I'd say Ricci and Calle work hard in the D..and Calle is a great Captain! Caddy and Kimmy work well together..still not the same without Jinner but hey. Not forgetting our Curtis..one word...CLASS! hehe ;D
Overall I would defo say ClarkeY is player of the season at the moment! ;D

I would have said Konstantin as he has shown us what he is all about & why the club signed him in the first place in the last month or so. It seems he gets a point every game at the minute & works his butt off too, but... I'll go for David Clarke as my choice, as he hit the floor running & has got the consistency sorted out too. Nice to see he's showing us what we missed last season from him due to injuries

I would say thats its got to be Curtis, along with Clarke aswell. Them two have been great so far, but there has been other players aswell, like Ivan, Ricci, Carlsson and Kalmikov.

Has to be Calle Carlsson. Such a great player and captain. Always plays to the best of his ability. yeah even when he messes up u can see the determination for him to repay, he works VERY hard, but my favourite player at the moment is .... cruickshank, where would we be without some of his fantastic saves! i don't know how he does it sometimes, he's just got great agility and flexibility, hope we have him for a long time, as far as i know we have never had a better keeper than him, anyone think the same?

I'm not gonna bother chosing one but can't say i'd argue against any of the names put forward so far.
It's a nice feeling to see so many names in contention tho aint it!!

Yes, i agree it's great to have so many candidates to choose from at this stage of the season.
Curtis would just shade it for me, he's giving us a chance to win every game & gives so much confidence to the rest of the team. Special mentions must go to Ivan who i expect to win Player of the Month for November, Clarkey whose shoot on sight policy is paying rich dividends & Ricci who makes it look so easy at the back.

I agree cruickshank is a very good goalie, and in my veiw he is player of the season with Mckenna very close behind. Other people may not think we have had a better goalie but i think we have! Trevor "Rocking" Robins! He was supurb!

C'mon, its gotta be Geoff!! The poor guy must work his ass off opening and closing those HEAVY doors!! If you think about it, the players would be more tired as they would have to climb over the edge instead of skating through the door to get on the bench!! Just think how much energy would be wasted!! ;D I mean, who needs to have good players to win lots of games and trophies, when you've got Geoff opening and closing the door!! ;D I know which one I'd pick! LOL not really, my fave would have to be, umm....... now I actually PROPERLY think about it (lol) I really don't know!! I agree with everyone else!! ;D ;D There we go, now I can go back to Geoff-land!! hehe ;D ;D ;D

Without a doubt it has to be good old Curtis!!! I mean, I have never seen a golie with reactions like that before! Having said this...a lot of the players this season have stood out, maybe it's because we have been playing so well as a team that it reflects on all of them! ;D Closely behind Curtis....Clarke, McKenna, Ivan

Yeah, gotta go for Cruikshank (because he has made crucial saves when we have been under the cosh), closely followed by Ivan and Ricci.

Curtis Cruickshank. More important than the individual saves is the confidence that having someone solid and dependable at the back has on the rest of the team, not just when defending but crucially when on the offence. Similar to an outstanding goalkeeper in soccer or full back in rugby. Second would be Steve McKenna purely for the increase in apparent team spirit since his arrival. Thirdly the Skipper. Despite not picking up an individual MOM in Amiens Calle Carlsson was for me the Panthers player of the tournement, and he's been a model of consistency thus far.
