Sweet! ;D I'll see who I can find in the rink on Saturday to have a word with, but I'll try to be out on Sunday, if I spot any Panthers jerseys, I'll say hi! If you see a guy with last years Fife road jersey (mainly blue, with yellow-ey gold trim), with #6 Fletcher on the back, say hi...

Shaggy and I are flying up on Saturday morning and will be travelling back to Edinburgh on Saturday night. For anybody that is interested I am putting together a small itinerary of good pubs and clubs to visit (my old haunts basically) Drop me an email or PM if you want to join the drinking party!

I was up in Kirkcaldy & Edinburgh with the Blaze last weekend and a great time was had by all. I have a couple of recommendations if anyone is interested.
Kirkcaldy - excellent pub, The Elbow Room, virtually next to the rink.
Edinburgh - Western Guest House about 10 mins walk from the rink in Corstophine Road and good value for money. Also the Murrayfield Hotel, just across the main road from the rink and good for a post match drink.
I hope you all enjoy your weekend.

Does anyone have info on car parks? Do the rinks have their own(like Sheffield) or is it a bit like ours (if so where is the best place to park) Thanks

Similar to Sheffield except it's free. Both are free and both are potholed unlit and likley to be full pretty quickly (well at Fife anyway, Murrayfield is a little better from what I recall) Then again, both venue's aren't that big anyway, so no major delays in or out of the car park.

It must have been a while since you were last at Murrayfield because it is well lit and not potholed at all now.

It must have been a while since you were last at Murrayfield because it is well lit and not potholed at all now. As already mentioned, I was there in April for Tony H's testimonial, and there were several potholes/ holes that you could drive a bus through in the car park right next to the rink, it was also very dark and unlit when I was there, though I didn't manage to make the Steelers game this season unfortunately, so I'm not sure if things have been improved this season. Maybe when I went they forgot to put the coin in the meter & they had just had Tony Robinson and the "Time Team" crew excavating the car park!?

I apologise, you must have been around the back in the overspill car park. The main car park at the front is how I described in my post above.
