Lets be honest its a MASSIVE ask for the kid to dress last night. Think how over awed he must have been in that locker room, all the swearing all the slovak players being rowdy (Probably ) testiment to the kid to go through all that and still perform. Good luck to him hope to see him in a GB shirt one day

I know he`s hears alot worse during his own games than he would a panthers game..
You should try sitting between the 2 bench`s for under 14`s/ 16`s games...the language makes you blush!!! ;D

I think he would of heard a lot worse in the changing rooms with the junior team he plays for. Ive trained with the juniors quite a few times so i know what its like.
I think he did well lastnight, looked a bit nervous but i think we all would be at that age playing for the panthers. He has loads of skill as ive seen him play a lot in the junior teams.

Yeh i think James played really well in the game against edinborough...
I seen him play for the Junior team and he looks cool out there. Fast and got skill with the puck. Lets hope he becomes a Panther one day. Im sure he'll do us proud!!

Got to say IMHO James Niel looked a better player than Daniel Scott. Definetly got "stuck in" more.

I have to agree with Chubbs, I also think James is a better player, he looks more comfortable on the ice, whereas Dan looks a little shakey. It maybe because of their difference in size. But it's just my opinion.
Stands back and takes cover.

He did OK. Just hope he grows a bit. I believe he had an antecedant play for the Panthers in the last half of the 50's. I don't know what the relationship is/was though. Probably Grandfather or Great Uncle.

The antecedent was his Grandfather Lawson Niel. Late 50's with Chick zamick & co. Was there saw him.

Anyone remember an interview GM did a couple of weeks ago suggesting a team were that desparate they had to ice a 14 year old - I think it was the Radio Nottingham interview last week. Sorry - low on facts at the moment, but I think he was talking about one of the BNL sides we played. Looks like it's the pot calling the kettle black - I know we didn't HAVE to play Neil, but even so!
