Bob Phillips has posted on our forum that the deal with the new operator of the ice rink (we do not know who it is yet as the council must announce it theirselves) Has almost been agreed and 4 players are ready to be announced once its all officially laid out.
You have no idea just how ecstatic i am and i can finally get ready for the new season and get excited about it. Thank you to all in Panther land who have supported us over this tough time, we are so so close now. Not quite out of the woods yet but there is certainly light at the end of one very long tunnel.

It's great to see that the finishing line is in sight..... fingers crossed you get it sorted quickly - I'm looking forward to see us take on my favourite opponents again!

The Panthers don't do league titles. Not even Carlsberg can manage that!

Yet more news!
There is now an urgent fans meeting in Cardiff on monday to keep people up to date with whats happening. No idea what this means but its certainly less encouraging than what we had this morning.
Really cant handle this rollercoaster much more!

I hope those boats are moved before the rink is finished, otherwise they will have a hell of a job catching fish!

Looks a lot more advanced than the latest Manchester photo's, lets hope they both get erected quickly. As for the Cardiff picture, I bet all those nice people who have just bought those swanky flats and houses in the background aren't exactly going to be impressed with the sight of a ice hockey arena on their doorstep spoilding their view of the bay! Ah well, thats their tough luck I suppose ;D Those big yellow fishing rods are going to have to go too.....

I hope everything goes OK for them, but what happens if the Rinks arn't ready for the start of the new season? Cardiff's rink is due to be ready on the 22nd of September if it isnt ready by then, well we'll just have to play more away games until it is finished

I can see problems around the corner. When fixture congestion and player complains of too many games (a la Belfast) creep in.
