Coventry have recently announced a tie up with Peterbourough, so I guess we may have seen the last of the Buckmans and Yardley.

AFAIK there is no actual 'affiliation' as such, it will be like their 'link' with Telford the last couple of years - getting a couple of players on 2-way contracts, with them training 'up' with Blaze when possible. Coventry have 5D and 10F without any 2-way players, and with the EPL side usually having first call on them, I would only expect any of them to appear a few times outside of challenge matches. Thommo did say about maybe getting some Phantoms guys on 2-ways, but no names mentioned. I'd expect Nathaniel 'BT' Williams to have a 2-way deal back with Coventry, so 2 more maximum I'd say. (And I would be very surprised if Yardley returned to Blaze on a 2-way deal).

guess mike Ellis might see himself as the 10th forward? Can't.... import limit.... As for Lions players - I can think of at least a couple who could acquit themselves decently.... whether they would be able to or want to, or whether the Panthers would want to is another matter.... haven't a clue, myself... well he can as the 10th forward is only used when there is an injury, so he doesn't really see the need for another brit bench warming IMO Basically i just think he doesn't see the need, we have neil and we have two players than can play forward well three including meyers who are either defencman or coach

I expect Panthers 2-way players to come from Bracknell and/or the Lions. Regards HL

import level... is ME classed as an import, as isn't he a British citizen (I assume you'd need to be to play for GB) Or does the import restrictions apply to naturalised players? good point
